Gravity Cask @Londinium Cask Festival, Tree Folk’s Pub (Rome). Pours golden, a bit unclear, with no head. Aroma of tropical fruits, lemon zest, light grapefruit. Flavour is balanced, light malt profile with a good bitter end, dry and extremely drinkable. Light body, quite flat. Well done!

Bottle at The Library, Cowley Road, Oxford, Monday 15th February 2016 prior to Ezra Furman gig with John. Amber in colour with a white head. Fruity and with caramel, bit cold it’s watery, (thinnish) with a steady maltiness. Can’t get excited about this sadly this is a bit boring. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Almost opaque deep ruby brown colour, small frothy beige head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma light roasted malts, cocoa, light coffee. Taste medium sweet and bitter, roasted malts, chocolate, light ashes, with average duration. Mild bittersweet aftertaste, spicy notes, light-bodied, watery texture, soft carbonation; surprisingly full taste regarding the strengh, nice.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at BottleDog, London. Pours hazy orange-gold with a frothy, white head. The aroma has a bit of pleasant tropical fruit, but also an off-note of chlorophenols - something like soap, or plastic. Medium sweet flavor with white bread, tangerine, light soapy astringency, lemon peel, orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation and massaging texture. Lightly resinous on the finish, with more pale bread, citrusy hops, some melon, papaya, that unfortunate phenolic off-flavour. This would be quite nice if not for the off-notes.

Merry Christmas. Session IPA on Christmas Morn. Pour a nice golden orange coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma first holds some nice soft tropical fruits, Mellon, peach, with some caramel malts and later a little floral pollen notes as well. Flavour is composed of light base grains, slight grain husk, spicy citrus and pollen hops, peach and mango. Palate is medium light bodied, with a nice dry crisp defined finish, highish carbonation, slight powdery. Lingering spicy citrus. Good balanced and sessionable

Gravity, sampled at the microbrewery in Gipsy Hill. Filmy layer over a near clear amber-brown body. Nuts, herbal hops and citrus on the nose. Malt-fruity flavours of nutty malts and dark grapefruit. Bittersweet ending. Tasty, freshly made beer (London 28.11.2015).

Sampled, gravity, Saturday at the brewery in Gipsy Hill. A golden coloured beer with a decent white head blanketing the upper part of the glass. Mixed fruit hops smell and taste. Satisfying moments of peach and grapefruit. Refreshing and tasty (London 28.11.2015).
