Description
We are a Microbrewery based in the picturesque village of Bow Brickhill, near Woburn, on the Buckinghamshire / Bedfordshire border.

Head brewer, Ryan Horne, has always had a passion for real ales and craft beer and has devoted time and effort learning about traditional brewing techniques and perfecting recipes using only quality, natural ingredients.

Having gained these skills we decided to take the ‘goat by the horns’ and brew our efforts for a wider audience to enjoy. After much planning and hard work our 6 Barrel Brewery was installed in early March 2015 and brewing in Bow Brickhill finally commenced.

Cask at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2021. Deep chestnut brown colour with an off white head. Dark and malty aroma with a light bitter finish. I’d have said a mild, but for the bitter finish.

8/10/2021. Cask at the 43rd Bedford Beer and Cider Festival. Pours clear golden with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is hoppy, lemon, pithy orange, straw, light tropical notes. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Very unlike the previous ratings and for me a Session IPA as described. Pretty decent one too.
