Cloudy golden yellow color, massive white head. Very fruity aroma, freshly cut hay, stone fruit. Taste is funky and dusty stone fruit. More IPA than saison, but pretty tasty.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear pure gold body that supports a nice white head of foam that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The aroma offers up loads of mango and pineapple and cantaloupe fruitiness as well as some clementine and mild maltiness in the background. The taste continues where aroma left off with juicy mango, pineapple and cantaloupe slipping into spicy onion dankness. Wow, this is a fun beer. There’s only a sense that the malts and body justify a Pale Ale designation as it seems pretty close to being an IPA. Yum. Deep, juicy, tropical and I can just drink a shit ton of this.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a mildly opaque pale gold body that supports a semi tight bright white head of foam. The aroma offers up inviting grainy malts, lemon like citrus and some floral hops. The taste delivers with a punch of tartness followed quickly by grainy bready malts that reign in the tartness a bit. Behind that lurks citrus lemon and grapefruit notes and a dash of spicy saison like yeastiness. Very nice crisp summer beer.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep gold hazy sort of papery semi opaque body that supports a bright white head that leaves behind spotty lacing. The aroma offers up peach, pineapple and grapefruit as well as spicy yeastiness. The taste delivers a fun blend of hoppy bitterness and spicy Belgian yeasty notes. It maintains a peppy crispness that keeps the experience refreshing and sliding into soft semi dry Brett toward the finish. I get bitter tangerine, grapefruit and pineapple blended with clove like spices. Another solid summer brew. As it warms it picks up modest funkiness.

Draft/Fest. A- Slightly tart, citrus, floral, spices. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Earthy, slightly sour, pepper, floral, citrus. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, balanced finish. O- This beer is good but I think it’s slightly over-hyped. I wouldn’t consider it an IPA, but it certainly has a lot going on in it.

Draft. A- Cocoa, chocolate. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Chocolate syrup, chocolate candy bar, slightly sweet. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, smooth finish. O- Tons of chocolate in here. Almost like a melted chocolate bunny. Har har har. I didn’t pick up on much vanilla, but still a solid beer.
