Draft at Buxton. Cloudy, almost murky maroon, cream colored head. Aroma of lightly spiced berry, cherry, cranberry. Taste has cranberry, vanilla, just a touch of spice. Subtle and understated.

IPA rating #900!
32oz growler pours up with a nice opaque hop hazed deep copper body that has some gold hues and supports a tall tan head of foam. The aroma offers up herbally, spicy, floral and grapefruit like citrus hoppiness and it becomes a little more floral as it warms. The taste begins with a blend of spicy and floral hop and slightly pine hop bitterness with a thin layer of resiny hoppiness banging around in there too. It gets more resiny with oily pine hops to midway while yielding a dash of bitter citrus here and there. The more I drink the more bitter and resiny it tends to get. This sets up a pretty solid stage to showcase Cascade hops where a smooth subtle malt backbone keeps this thing together. The bitterness and resiny hops linger well into the after taste.

Beavertown Spectrum Fest. Keg. Lightly hazy pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and dry with modest fine carbonation. Light malts. Touches of lime and mild sherbet. Mild lactose. Lightly salty finish. Not that piney!

On tap at Beavertown Rainbow Project 2015, Tottenham, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top. Chocolate, coffee, spice aroma. Tastes similar, chocolate, coffee, spice, slight chilli in there too. Very rich but also very good.
