On the afternoon of 26th March 2019 my wife and I tried four flights (of four beers) in the centre section of the Bagby Beer Company in Oceanside, two flights of their own beers and two flights of guests. This is one of those 16 beers. Decent crisp Pilsner all round, clear golden pour, white crown. Malty and floral notes in the aroma, the taste also malty, but with a more citrus flavour than the nose suggested. Nice.

This is one of those 16 beers. Deep golden body, wispy white head. Light malty nose with a slight floral esters or two. The taste is more malty than hoppy although there is a mild bitterness and a citrus leaning in the flavour.

Can. Pours clear black, large fizzy tan head, dissipates quickly, some lacing. Aroma is stale coffee, peanut butter, mocha. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter -- odd. Lightish body. Not a winner.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a deep dark body that supports a tiny tan ring of bubbles. The aroma offers up a blend of peanut butter, jalapeno, chocolate and then more peanut butter. The taste delivers smooth blend of chocolate and peanut butter flowing into a quick hit of sweet molasses. Toward the finish the jalapeno burn swells forward and then taken over by peanut butter into the after taste. This is a really nice treatment.

Tasting at Matt's, corked bottle
Cloudy light red colour. This beer packs some funky character, foot, acidity, berry juice; the mouthfeel is smooth; I get some cellar and horseblanket notes typical of Lambic.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and moderate hoppy veru peated aroma. Heavy bitter exstremely peated nice flavor. Fantastic long complex finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

750mL bottle, pours a cloudy amber with a small beige head. Nose brings out rustic saison yeast, faded grape skins, and light oak. Flavour is along the same lines, with vegetal notes, especially celery, followed by earthy grape skins, and some barrels. Lots of ketchup and celery on the finish. This isn't impressive.

Slight haze, sort of a pinkishish kind of colour. No head. Tart, bretty, nice vinous note. Some woody accents. Tart up front, nice sweet vinous notes, big barrel, lots of complexity to the bugs, the barrel accents. Delicious. Excellent.
