12 oz bottle. Orange peel, some coriander spice or something, light hops to finish.

Draft as Hook & Ladder. Minor league aroma and head. A decent sweet taste, I like blonde ales so kill me.

Bottle, not sure why I never rated this back in the day. This wasn't bad. Had a lot of odd, floral blueberry character but the sorghum provides plenty of body. As far as saison character, it's rather Americanized, with quite a bit of clove and bubble gum.

Brewery draught, 9/11/24. Clear amber. Small, off-white head. Smells like pine and C-hop sweat! What the hell? After all of these contemporary styles and well-done updates to older beers, I guess they just couldn't get it all out of their system! Smells like resin, caramel and 2005! Strong notes of 2005 with lingering resin, caramel, iced tea, toast and pine. Oh well, can't win em all!

Brewery draught, 9/11/24. Gently cloudy, honey-to-light-amber. Small, off-white head. Juicy puree, low lactic, good fruit acidity. Lots of cracker malt. Juicy, fruity, authentic fruit character and no punchy lactic character. Good body with soft wheat and chewy notes to satisfy and balance the dry, acidic fruit.

Brewery draught, 9/11/24. Clear, bright, cran-rosé. Cinna-apple with gentle cranberry acidity. Good honey backing remaining somewhat rich but also sessionable and not boozey. A fine, sessionable mead. Lighter, not thin, maybe a bit light for the size, though. Fizzy, good acidity and fruit tartness. Comforting apple and tasteful cinnamon.

Brewery draught, 9/11/24. Mostly clear, unfiltered bronze. Small, white head quickly to ring. Grainy nose with decent malt depth for the style. Though there's some odd fruitiness making me wonder if they changed the line from a fruit beer without cleaning it well. Fruity, a bit too much so. Good body, a bit acidic. Not sure what this is but it's not an american lager. Oh, I figured it out, it's this. Well that makes more sense and is quite nice. Lots of body for a shandy.

Brewery draught, 9/11/24. Straw, pale blonde. Decent-sized/retained, white head. Very fruity again. Smells like raspberry. Not sure what is going on here or why the beers smell so fruity. Tastes fruity, juicy, soft, chewy, wheaty, clean. Lots of raspberry but super low acidity.

Restaurant draught, 9/11/24. Moderately hazy, muted brass. Small, creamy, well-retained, white head. Juicy, lightly tropical. Hint of wood and pine. Fruity yeast with biscuity malt and seemingly good depth. Juicy, soft, hoppy, low but ample bitterness. Good malt depth and attenuation. Who is making these beers?? I guess Ipswich is still making their draught beers and RiverWalk is making the bottles, distributed stuff? No way RiverWalk is making this quality of a beer on draught, at least. Glad to see Ipswich preserved in this way.
