Keg, I seem to recall, at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap Norwich, 16/02/17. Light black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, light hop tingle, liquorice, spice, biscuit. Taste comprises bitter chocolate, coffee grinds, light smoke, aniseed, fruit rinds, rasins. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hoppy check out. Decent flavoursome stout.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Almost black with a creamy off-white head. Smooth tasting with robust roasted malts.

Keg at Chesham beer shop, Chesham, Bucks. A black coloured pour with a thin beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate, orange aroma. Tastes the same, roasty, malty, chocolate, orange, slightly sweet. Decent porter.

Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2017. Black beer lasting tan head. Almost a safety match aroma. Sulphur? Then some chocolate some oil. Its not very good to be honest. Hmmm some jam dark fruits. Bit sweet. Not keen .

Keg at RS HW, 01/02/17. Orange amber with a decent light beige cap. Nose is bitter orange, toasted bread, tangerine, grapefruit notes, straw, light pine flicker, dusty hops. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, lemon rind, citric tinged straw, bready notes, apricot, pine needle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a decent enough whack of hop bitterness. Drinkable DIPA with good balance if not living up the heights of others available in the UK today.

Draught @ Canalhouse, 48-52 Canal Street, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 7EH. [ As Pig & Porter Slow Black ].Clear dark black brown color with a small, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, toffee, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, toffee, dark malt, roasted, raisin - figs, spicy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.
