We are a dynamic and growing 15BBL brewery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent producing beer in Cask, Keg & Can. Pig and Porter is a passion born of necessity, nurtured in a shed, fuelled by belief and fulfilled by the creation of beers that we love. We’re now on a mission to share our beers with everyone who wants to drink better. All of our beers are now vegan friendly with the exception of Honey Hill Wit which contains honey. Pig and Porter now has a growing team in a shiny new site with a new head brewer Riina Laats taking our beers in a new direction.

Cask @ Soup Kitchen, Manchester. Deep amber with a thin head. Tropical fruit hopped with a sweetness you associate with sweetened tinned fruit. There’s some citrus orange and pineapple in here, but a very dry aftertaste.

Typical amber ale no real faults but could be hoppier. Nice enough. Not a fan of the style though.

Appearance is black, with a beige head which quickly disappears. Aroma- chocolate, fudge, brownie, hint of vanilla, a bit of plum and dark fruit, cocoa powder, toffee, coffee, whisky fudge. Taste- lots of coffee in this, with dark malts, treacle toffee, fudge cake, biscuity malt, vanilla hints, milk chocolate. Plum and dark fruit towards the end. Mouthfeel is on the thin side for the style, with a short finish.
