Keg at the Port Street beer house. A light hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is juicy mango orange tangerine, little caramel, spicy orange rind and a little sorachi.. Flavour is composed of semi swet, sticky hop, orange rind, midget gem, peach, caramel,. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, little sticky hop resin. Solid double ipa.

Cock at the Keg Tavern, 08/06/17. Almost clear golden with a decent off white head. Nose is mellow citric rinds, vanilla, soft bread, caramel. Taste comprises orange pith, caramel, sweet malts, cheesecake baste, lmeon rind, light grapefruit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light boost. Average for style ... too sweet and lacking hop profile.

Keg at Cock Taverno. It pours hazy deep golden with a thick white head. The aroma is bread, brioche, candied citrus, orange, caramel and biscuit. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, biscuit, white bread, bitter orange peel, sherbet, pithy, zesty, tannin, Earl Grey tea and rich tea biscuit with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A bit old - skool. Fair

Keg at the cock. A translucent golden orange coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is caramel, juicy fruits, tangerine, orange peel, peach melba, vanilla. Flavour is composed of sweet malts, caramel and toffee, mixed tropical fruits, orange rind, peach. Little old school. Palate is semi sweet, chewy, highish carbonation.

Cask at Cock Tavern. It pours black with a tiny beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malts, loads of sweet ripe berries, blackberry, blackcurrant jam, plum, D&B, treacle and pine. The taste is pretty bitter, dark roast, burnt pine, toast, ripe berries, blackcurrant, peppery spice, citrus peel, resin, molasses and fruit cake. Finish is drying and charred. Medium body and soft carbonation. Packs a punch. I dare say it would be nicer on keg - colder with more carbonation, as it gets a bit sticky after a bit. Good anyhow. Robust.

Keg at MS HW, 03/06/17. Light black pour with a faded tan cap that retains well. Nose is eathy, light charr, red berry compote, spice, cocoa nibs, pine needle, treacle toffee. Taste comprises liquorice, earthy fruit rinds, pine licks, mellow roast, jammy berry fruits, Beena berry whisper, charr, faint cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close peppered with balanced earthy hop bitterness. This is a really solid exponent of the style ... I had multiple 2/3rd pints of it on this visit. Good stuff !

Keg at Eebria, Bermondsey, London, Saturday 3rd June 2017 in the company of Ken Hazy yolky gold with a thin white head, a little warmth on the front end, however I hope that iโm not still getting the warmth from the Twisted Barrel Soup Dragon . Doesnโt taste 7%, a little tropical edge, fruity decent IPA but as Ken rightly points out its not a DIPA. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours deep brown with a frothy, tan head. The nose has a hearty kick of chocolate, light roast, burnt toffee, ripe berries, raisins. Medium to big sweet flavour, with plenty of gooey chocolate, mild ashy bitterness, some burnt marshmallows, oily vanilla. Medium bodied, lightly chewy, with fine carboantion; pretty good condition. Sweet on the finish, and a little sticky, with further creamy chocolate, vanilla pods, dates, very mild coffee. Overall, its a really fun beer. Certainly on the sweet end of the spectrum, but the beer is called Kandy so that doesnt surprise me. I couldnt see myself drinking pints of this, but a half is quite enjoyable.
