Bottle at Bruce’s 30th celebrations, 08/02/13, thanks to Leighton. Hazed mid amber with a thin off white head. Nose is big on fresh hops, pine, grapefruit, grass. Taste comprises hops, pine, light soap, mango, grapefruit. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry bitter finish. Decent fayre!

Noe grumsete utseende. God søtlig lukt. God på smak og gir en god ettersmak. Ikke noe særlig munnfølelse. Totalt sett et godt øl som kan prøves om man er glad i ipa.

Appearance: Very dark brown, basically black. Nice, dark tan head, shortlived. Aroma: Dark malt, roasted, some over-ripe fruit. Taste: Lots of dark malt, coffee, roasted. Some hops as well. Nice. Info: 660ml bottle, 21/2-2013, 220/300, BB: 30/12-12

As ’Northern Star’. Very hazy gold beer, good white head. Smooth palate with fine carbonation. Creamy pale malt. Nice mild citric orange hops. A little grapefruit. Minerals. Semi dry finish with more mild citrus. Super drinkable.

Bottle. It’s a lighlty unclear orange-golden beer topped by a decent off-white head. Quite hoppy aroma, with pine cones and citrus peel, some notes of grass and tropical fruits, and a little bit of malts. It’s quite sweet on the palate, not cloying though, and with sufficient bitterness to deal with it. Full body, with pleasant carbonation. Bitter and fruity finish. Overall, a nice beer, but it could use some more bitterness, and I wouldn’t argue against even more aroma hops. 130216

660 ml bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård. ABV is 4.7%. Dark brown to ruby colour, nearly black. Large beige head. Dryish roasty aroma, notes of coffee and dust, hints of woodwork. The dry flavour has also notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, unsweetened liquorice and wood, hints of ashes. Medium bitter finish.
