Draught at Monk’s Cafe Wallingatan, Stockholm. Clear deep golden, firm head. Concentrated salty arom with dried citrus peels and sweat. Medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. Actually dominated by salty bitterness from early on. Well structured malt, but those Jester hops aren’t really shining.

Bottle, 12C. 4.3% ABV. Just hazy pale gold with a white head. Citrus, tropical and cut grass aroma. Light-bodied, lowish carbonation. A little sweet hay can’t wait to get out of the way of the Kiwi hop flavours - they’re very bright with oranges, grapefruit, gooseberry, mango, light passionfruit and lawn clippings. Finish is dry and quite bitter. Straight-ahead refreshment; lovely use of Kiwi hops.

Draught @ O’Hara’s Freehouse. Rated on 29.01.2010
Aroma is somewhat sweet with hops, exotic fruits and caramel. Flavour is sweet with American hops, exotic fruits, caramel, some resiny malt and biscuits. Quite American – and too sweet for me.
