Draught at The Rover, Göteborg, on November 3, 2012.Cloudy amber color, dense off-white head. Fruity, citrus, hoppy scent. Caramel, sweet, malty, hoppy, floral, citrus, fruity taste. Medium mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Bottle, 12C. Almost clear pale amber (leaving the cm of sludge at the bottom of the bottle) with a lovely white head that lasts and leaves clumps. Aroma of grapefruit, flowers, peach, honeydew melon, toffee, light bread, a little mint/ eucalyptus. Lightish bodied, very soft mouthfeel despite a fair bit of carbonation. Not really used to having an English beer that seems lighter than it is. Fruity sweet with a little firm toffee and a bit more bread. Citrus flavours - kumquat as well as grapefruit - are distinct and there’s a little pepper. Quite bitter, but the bitterness emerges seamlessly. Excellent. [4.1] Growler from a keg. Even more vibrant fruit but that softness of the bottle conditioned version is not there and the flavours are a little less well integrated. Still very good indeed. Leaving score as is, but [4.0].

Growler. Gold with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pepper, the meadow, light butterscotch. Light-bodied. Bittersweet with fairly austere light biscuit and plenty of bitterness. Some pine as well as grapefruit, grass and pepper. Refreshing but not all that welcoming.

Cask at Dean Swift with Sarah. Pours a clear near black with a grayish brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a good amount of roast with dark grain and a slight earthy pine and grass underlying. Flavor has a good amount of dark grains with roast and a bit of pine and dryness coming out in the finish.

Cask at Rake with Sarah. Pours a hazy pale gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of pine and citrus with a hint of dankness. Flavor starts with light citrus that mellows to bitter grass and a bit of light grains in the finish.

Bottle @ Liva, Kolding. Pours nearly black with a small creamy head. Grapefruit, pine and vague roast. Chocolate, caramel and a bit of dry ash. Crisp and dry. Fine stuff.

Draught @ The Rover. Pours tiny hazy pale golden with a frothy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is floral, tiny herbal and hoppy with white read, crackers, grapefruit juice, orange zest, pineapple, black currant leaves, gooseberries, grass, pine and hints of resin. Taste is tiny sweet, bitter as fruity with crackers, grapefruit juice, pine, freshly cut grass, dark grapes, gooseberries, lemon zest and unripe currants. Mouthfeel is crisp, dry, tiny astringent and light bodied. Finish is dry and bitter with grapefruit rinds, pine, grass, lemon zest, unripe berries and crackers. Hoppy and nicely refreshing.

Shared bottle @ Håndverkerstuene, courtesy of espenra. A black body with a moderate sized beige head. Aroma of dark malt, mocha and coffee. Flavor is smooth, sweet, dark, roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and a hint of vanilla. Fine body and a pleasant aftertaste with dark, roasted malt, dry fruit and balanced bitterness. A fine and complex beer with lots of flavors. One of the best beer I have tasted so far from Moore.
