Sampled from 66cl bottle at Beer Enthusiast release party, Håndverkerstuene. Pours clear golden with a nice, white head. Hoppy aroma with citrus, pine, malt and fruits. Medium body and carbonation. Dry and nicely bitter finish with grapefruit. Lasting bitter and citrusy aftertaste. Very refreshing - hoppy and sessionable!

Draught. Hazy, deep amber liquid with small off-white head. Aroma of blackberries, biscuit, caramel, grapefruit and pine. A bit too malt forward for my liking. Taste is dry and medium to high bitter with notes of red berries and caramel. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Not hoppy enough to support all the malt.

On tap @ the Haymarket. Pours golden with a nice head. The nose has meadow flowers and custard. The taste has more of the floral thing and there’s a creamy/buttery backbone. The palate is medium bodied and textured with a gently refreshing finish.Overall a good beer.

Cask at CP&K. It pours deep ruby-amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is smoke, earth, roasted malt, caramel, wood and liquorice. The taste is earth, wood, smoke, leather, roasted malt, dark fruit, some residual caramel sweetness and light smoke, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth and very flavoursome for the alcohol percentage.

Bottle from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, Shrewsbury Folk Festival Sunday 25th August 2012 Pours amber with white head. Medium bitterness, fairly solid fruity bitter. Nice but quite a departure from the usual Moor big hitters that I am used too. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

Draught at. Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Hazy copper colour, rich head. Intense aroma of tropical fruits and strawberries. Sweet with soft mouthfeel and full body. Sauteed tropical fruit and salted lychee with honey and white pepper heat atop. Very bitter finish, but well integrated ans without inkyness. Nice new wave English Imperial IPA.

Dark brown, almost opaque, small beige head. Leafy hoppyness, inky aroma. Light bodied. Toasted maltyness, coffee, sharp citrusy hoppyness. Lingering toasty, hoppy aftertaste. Nice light IPA!

Bottled@vPBF2012. Very deep ambery red colour, small beige head. Aroma is brady, earthy, some nutty notes and rather hoppy with some mild roasted notes. Not balanced. Flavour is roasted malts, some rather big hops and really a big mess this one.

66 cl bottle (4,7%) @ vPBF, BBE 30.06.2013
Aroma has ash, vanilla and hints of licorice. Flavour has lots of ash and some licorice. A bit light palate. Quite ashy and somewhat straightforward, but not bad still. This has some similarities with their peated porter.

Pours dark brown, almost black with a tiny head. Aroma of fruity hops, roasty malts, chocolate, coffee and hints of lemon. Taste is dry and slightly roasty with some hints of chocolate and coffee. Dry and hoppy finish with hints of fruits and roasty malts. Decent black IPA, but quite light bodied and not very fresh.
