Cask at the Reading Beerfest. Brown-black. Really nice chocolatey roasty porter with a hint of blackberry. Nothing fancy or unusual, just full-flavoured and very satisfying. Nice one.

Cask-conditioned at Bristol Beer Festival, 24/3/2017. Dark brown in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Sweetish, toasty malts, plain chocolate, some fondant sweetness, leading to a dryish finish. An enjoyable porter.

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 16th April 2017. Hazy amber with yellowy white foam and full lacing. Mildly citric hoppiness in aroma. Richly hoppyin-mouth with peach, grass and citrus. Fruit and grassiness dominate the finish. Engaging texture and plenty of body. Superb!

Cask at CBC, Covent Garden on 16th April 2017. Unfined, hazy amber with thin, off-white spot-lacing foam. Hoppy, yeasty aroma. Leafy and grassy hoppiness in-mouth, and a delicate finish of fruit, maltiness and grassy hops. Light body and mouthfeel.

Keg tap at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Dark gold, cloudy as hell. A thin white head on top, which produces quite a lot of lacing. Gentle creamy scent with some mango lassi and red bean ice cream. Sweet creamy taste with a bittering hop that stays in the background. There’s almost a savoury umami note in the finish... this would go great with food. A bit of hoppy bitterness to end the sip.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden-amber with a small head. Strong tasting, making its tropical fruitiness slightly overbearing.
