Craft Islington. Keg. Cloudy brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, dry. Decent fine minerally carbonation. Mildly sweet malts, some toffee. Spicy ripe fruits, spicy pine. Dry finish. Not bad. End of the keg so maybe a little tired.

33cl bottle from Beer52.com. A peaty brown pour with a tight beige head; enticing caramel latte aroma; sweet, rather thin, milky chocolate taste with a little malt; dissolving into a creamy mocha finish that’s far too sweet for my taste. Rather too much going on here.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Day 16 of my beer advent calendar. Deep ruby to black colour with a tan head. Aroma has lots of caramel, and coffee not so much roasted malt. Taste creamy sweet. Medium body.

Taste comprises bubblegum, bitter orange, caramel, biscuit, fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with hop bitterness. Ok for style.

Off white head soon left a cover on a hazy, dark golden body. Fruity, hoppy aroma. Relatively thin on the palate, smooth & tickly on the back. Bitter tasting with fruit (nondescript) light citrus & slightly hoppy.

Craft 100. Clapham. Cask. Clear paleish gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Sweetish clean pale malts, mild German style nuttyness. Floral sweetness. Touch of lemony citrus. Floral citrus on the light crispy finish. Nice job, cask lager disasters are common and this one is an assured brew.
