Draught at the brewpub in Las Vegas
Cloudy blond color. Sorry, but the glass smell the cleaning product. Almost common Lager, sweeter, with light malt taste.

Bottle. Golden color with a white head. Light aroma that a bit of spicey hops and malt. Grainy, spicey hop flavor with a bit of playdough. Medium bodied, easy to drink.

On draught at the Columbus brewpub. Pours a ruddy dark amber color with a medium off-white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of wheat, malt and banana. Medium, soft body with a sweet fruit character. Malt and caramel flavor at the forefront with some banana and wheat behind it. The finish is clean and round with mild fruit and a wheaty finish. Not too bad.

Reddish amber in colour, with thin off white head. In aroma, honey laced malt. Rather oxidized malt in mouth, light hops and boiled vegetables. August 2005.

Bottle Pours a clear deep redish brown with a modest light tan head. Fair spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet woody and slightly of alcohol. Some other spices are in there, cinimon, apples maybe. Flavor is malty, robust and sweet. Some flavors of oak barrels and the ABV comes through. Interesting the alcohol is listed on this label at 7.5%. Only slight bitter trailer and fairly lively carbonation. Tasty Thanks OhioDad

A surprisingly good hefeweizen from a brewpub that had no other beers not in a lager category. Citrus and banana nose. Cloudy orange, but lacks sediment. Sweet wheat flavor followed by sour citrus. Well done.

Sample (thank goodness) at the brewpub. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that disappears rapidly. Lacing is not present. Faint floral hops aroma. Light-bodied and pretty much flavorless. There is a tiny bit of grain and hops but that is it. The finish is short which is good because the aftertaste is somehow unpleasantly sweet-n-sour. I won’t be bothering with this again.

On draught at the brewpub, served in a gold-rimmed Weizen glass. Hazy dark amber/golden color with a thick and fluffy off-white head. Thin and sticky lacing. Aroma of yeast and bananas. Medium-bodied and slick with flavors of wheat, banana and yeast. The finish is clean but kind of watery, with wheat and a bit of spice aftertaste. Above average overall, and honestly better than I was expecting.

Bottle Pours a medium copper amber with a modest off white head even after an agressive pour. Quicly dissipates to a thin white film that is maintained. Aroma is a mild swet maltiness that is slightly toasted. Little hop bitterness and some slight apple cider notes. Flavor is woody and slightly roasted. Tastes a bit thin and fairly swet but w/o much real flavor. Long lingering cardboard/bitterness. I’ll pass next time
