Pours a clear amber with moderate sized white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel, some sweetness, hay and metal. Taste of caramel, banana, malt and grassy hops. Just tastes stale to me, not very tasty at all. Medium bodied, slightly cloying maltiness. Poor show by Waitrose.

Bottle from Waitrose Pours a clear gold, brief fizz. Aroma of oak and tangy apples. Taste is dry tangy red apples, quite sugary sweet with a slight bitterness to offset. Has a slightly cheap processed feel to like most supermarket branded ciders but its ok.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow, brief fizz. Aroma of apple juice, skins, some syrup, wood. Taste of apples, sugar, wood, light funk, drying close. Medium oily body, moderate carbonation. Not bad. Its ok but M&S commission better own branded beers and ciders. Waitrose need to step up their game.

Bottle from Waitrose Supermarket, Saxmundham. Pale clear yellow with a carbonation. Mildly sweet, some dryness, there's a notable quality in the apple used here.

Bottle from Waitrose, Saxmundham. Glowing golden with a light carbonation. Softer textured but remaining very fruity with its apple and a fine maturity to finish. Decent nose too.

Bottle from Waitrose, Saxmundham. Golden colour and somewhat sweet but stated apple flavour with a bit of dryish tang in the mix too. Dryish aroma too.

500ml bottle from Waitrose, Wells. Pours clear gold. Aroma of gentle woody tannins, lightly caramelised apple fruit. Continues to taste, some crisp apple core, sweet, juicy with tart moments. Decent medium sweet cider.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose Canary Wharf. Pours clear copper with a small, foamy khaki head. Lightly sweet with nice bready malts, toast, English yeast, a little caramel, subtle leafy bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Sweet and bready finish, more toasted malts, toffee, yeast. Easygoing, easy-drinking beer.

2019 vintage, so I was tempted not to review it when I found the bottle, but it aged quite well. Darkish golden pour with very little carbonisation, aromas of red apples, hint of sweetness, taste is apple, some oak and a hint of spices. Not bad
