Description
PINTA – We brew from the very first day of craft revolution in Poland!
Our great journey started on 28th of March 2011, when we brewed our first batch of „Atak Chmielu” („Attack of the Hops”) – first commercial American IPA in Poland.
Since that day we are still brewing new ales, lagers, sahti and sour beers. Alone or in collaboration with our friends from Polish and foreign breweries.
Whilst last five years we’ve produced beers in more than 60 styles, like: Imperial IPA, Sahti, Sticke Alt, Irish Red Ale, Imperial Witbier, Extra Special Bitter (ESB), Rauchbock, Grodziskie, American IPA, Weizenbock, Oatmeal Stout, Schwarzbier, Scottish Ale, Vienna Lager, Rauchbier, Pumpkin Ale, Rice IPA, Biere de Garde, Imperial Baltic Porter, New Zealand Lager and many, many more!
In 2015 we’ve launched brand new series of sour beers. It all started with rye sour ale called Kwas Alfa, brewed with Tobias Emil Jensen from Danish To Øl brewery.
We were also the first Polish brewery which crossed the border and brewed international collaborative beer outside Poland. That’s how we’ve produced Lublin to Dublin – stout brewed in Dublin, Ireland by Pinta and O’Hara’s breweries in 2014. In 2015 we’ve made collaboration with French Brasserie du Pays Flamand and Danish To Øl mentioned before. Autumn of 2015 bring another innovation in Polish craft. We are the first Polish brewery which brewed a beer in the different continent – with Japanese Baird Brewing Co.
You can be sure that we use all our experience and knowledge to give you the best beers we can afford! We still improve our skills and we are not afraid to make experiments. We love travels – even those furthest. We always bring a lot of the best inspirations from other countries and we are trying to share them with you, creating the best beers we can.

Czerwony irlandzki Ale. Kramelowy smak, lekka słodycz, troczę palonego słodu i gożka wytrawność w końcuwce.

Dark brown. Aroma is plummy, roasty, and fairly assertive for a 4.5% stout. Soft body but full of dark malt, subtle plums, and complex yeasty notes. Good, flavourful stout.

Bottle, Ma?e Piwo. Medium brown. Rich, woody smoke aroma. Soft smoke, about Spezial Mrzen level, and some lightly caramelly, toasty malts. There us a strong woody note to the smoke, relative to either Schlenkerla or Weyermann, and I appreciate that distinctiveness.

Hazy straw. Not much head. Smoky, oaky, wheaty aroma. Light body, little diacetyl on the palate with strong smoky character. Light and fairly refreshing. Could do without the diacetyl, however.

Piwo przypomina belgijskie Blanche de Honneles. Pachnie pomarańczami i kolendrą. Smak wyraźny i zdecydowanie przyprawowy.

Smak treściwy i ciekawy. Pełny słodowy smak, chmiel delikatny i bezgoryczkowy.

0.5l bottle kindly traded with ElDesmadre. It pours a really really deep brown - almost black body with a small brown light bubbly head that's quickly fading to a sidesticking little thing. On the aroma this one is quite smoky and sausage-ish. Not to overwhelming the smokiness, but it's totally dominant. Some ashy rocks next to a camp fire is what this is smelling like. I quite like it! When tasting it it's actually a bit sweet. Also, of course, lots of nice beefy, dried meaty smokiness. I honestly don't get any other flavors in this one, and I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. One dimensional perhaps, but I really liked this one! Perhaps so much that I can say that this is one of the best Polish I've had! 07.04.2012

0.5l bottle kindly traded with ElDesmadre. I've seen one or two beers with a massive gigantic head in my days, but nothing like this! The second the beer hits the glass, it foams like a Mentos in a diet coke. Amazing. Eventually when it settles after a couple of hours, it turns out that this is a heavy cloudy dark dark nutty-brown beer. The amazingly fluffy beige head never completely disappears. On the aroma I find sweet tones of both dark and red dried concentrated fruits, some cocoa powder, a little bit of cardboard and hints of nuts and chocolate. Not bad! It has a quite lively carbonation level - almost on the border of being over carbonated, it's medium-bodied and has a oily texture in the mouth. On the flavors it's much the same as I found in the aroma. Light sweet and dried-fruity, chocolate paper tones, some cocoa powder and a distinct light mild sour almost acidic hint. It actually suits it quite nice, but I'm not sure it's intended. It leaves my mouth with a light alcoholic flavor in the aftertaste. Not a bad one, and a clear record (even behind De Molen's - Molenbier) on the massive gigantic head. 04.04.2012

0.5l bottle kindly provided by ElDesmadre. The pour on this one is clear and ruby-red. It has a medium sized off-white bubbly head that quickly fades into a bubbly sidesticking thing that's lacing down the glass quite elegantly. On the aroma it's light fruity, some peachy hops here, also I get caramel and a sweetness that reminds me of piny tomatoes. Quite nice. In the flavor I get lot's of cortex, pine and tropical peachy fruits. It's definitely not over hopped in any way, some caramel and grapefruit. Quite balanced in many ways, and a great thirst quencher. A bit watery on the tongue and it has a mild soft carbonation level. It's leaving the mouth a bit astringent with a hoppy piny lingering aftertaste whit hint of soap. More like a APA than an IPA, but quite a nice and tasty one. 07.04.2012
