Units 6 & 7 May Industrial Estate, Northfleet, Gravesend, DA11 8RU, England
Description
We produce both cask and keg beer to the highest standards. From traditional best bitters, fermented in our open topped vessels, to hoppy IPA's fermented in our conical vessels, we aim to achieve the highest standards possible. We run a small lab in the brewery to ensure our beer is fermented cleanly, and is of the same high standard every time it comes to you. Our lab information is available to all our customers, from forced fermentation results and fining levels in cask beer to carbonation levels and yeast counts in keg beers. The Taproom at our brewery, located just off Perry Street, is designed to invite the community in Gravesend and beyond to come and see what we're up to on a regular basis, and see how we create and package our beer. The whole team share a passion for good beer, well cared for and well served. It is the aim of Iron Pier to provide great beer in the best condition we can.

On tap at Low Key Taproom Ashford. Slight haze pale gold colour. Lasting white head. Light Belgian yeast presence. Very light peach esters. Mostly a light soft carbonated blond ale. Some biting hop on the finish. Just come back from Belgium and this is a very light version of the real thing. Carries anb well though.

Some biitter wood appears into the finish. Light-medium bodied. Soft fluffy carbonation. Long finish. Enjoyable Best. Delightful fluffiness.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Just a light haze on this slightly dirty amber beer, small and short lived pale tan head. Light smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth caramel malts, not that sweet. Punchy red wine, red berries and a light Geuzey vibe that is softened by a little oak induced vanilla. More vinous fruits and some alcohol spice on the airy finish. Not exactly the shy retiring type of barleywine, big bold flavours, mostly from the barrel. Nice one!
