Can (049 2 on bottom of can—4/9/22?) pour from Total Wine & More, Brentwood. It’s a lightly hazy gold with nice sparkle, 2-finger width off-white head with fair retention and trace lacing. Aroma is lemon, grape and mild pineapple. Taste is strong pineapple, lighter citrus and mild white grape. Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied with smooth texture soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste with light bitterness. Overall, decent strength and complexity but these hops can produce something stronger. Date code (if interpretation is accurate—didn’t occur to me until just now) may mean serious hop decay so likely even better fresher.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, straw color, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is crackers, wet grass, chalk, and lavender. Sweet and malty, with a light, crisp bitterness. Light and effervescent. Bright, clean, and refreshing.

Bomber bottle. dated 2021. Pours an opaque dark brown color with a foamy tan head that has fair retention. The aroma is big and bold with whiskey, vanilla, cocoa, raisins and anise. The taste is complex with bourbon, vanilla and cocoa in the forefront, then giving way to coffee and a trace cinnamon. The palate is smooth and oily. Finishes long and sweet. Overall: Very nice--ten years ago I might have thought it comparable to dark lord, but today its just a decent impy stout. The bar certainly has been raised over time.

Pour is more of a cloudy gold with a large white head. Aroma is melon and generic malt. Flavor is more melon a wee bit of citrus and more dry generic malt. This was a bit weak for this style.

Pour is a uber clear gold with a small fizzy white head. Aroma is a decent biscuity malt and some nobel hop. Flavor is more biscuit malt and a green hop. Maybe a tad sweet on the back end but this beer was better than I expected. Pretty spot on American pilsner.

Banana, orange, clove, wheat malt, and straw aroma. Cloudy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet orange, banana, clove, wheat malt, and mildly bitter straw flavor. Good body and balance. Well done.

Can. 2022. Dark copper pour with a big sudsy beige head that has good retention. Aroma starts off with a big blast of hot alcohol followed by citrusy hops and something metallic. The taste was toffee set in a piney bitter malt base with hot alcohol on finish. The palate full and viscous. Overall: Disappointed in this one.
