Bomber - 2022 - labeled as 12.3% abv - black pour with a tan lace - vanilla and bourbon are most prominent in the nose - slick mouthfeel - medium-sweet, but with some balancing bright acidity - mild tannic notes - strong but smooth bourbon character - moderate alcohol warmth, but not boozy - some chocolate, espresso, light cinnamon - finish is bourbon and lingering dark fruit skin tannins - it’s quite nice, actually.

From Beer Drop. Canned 234 2. Julian dating I reckon. August 22nd 2022.
Pours the palest of straw yellow with a surprisingly long lasting head of foam. Some lacing.
Smells grainy, hoppy, pretty much covers it.
Taste is grainy, watery, some hoppiness, maybe some lemon.
Thin and watery mouthfeel which is not shocking considering the low abv.

Seems to be Wiseacre’s attempt at a Celebration-style malt-forward IPA, and as such, not a bad approximation. Caramel and toast from the malts lead to a gentle citrus/berry fruitiness on the back end. Never quite hits the wintry piney heights of Sierra Nevada’s fall IPA, but still a good pint.

Pour is a clear copper with an average white head. Aroma is toasted white bread. Flavor is more toasted bread. A little thin but not as sweet as some American versions of this style.

Pour looks like lemonade with a large white head. Aroma is bready malt with some lemon hops. Flavor is white bread with some citrus hops. Finish leaves some cracker malt on the tongue. OK hoppy pils.
