Can at the motel in Austin - picked up at Stein’s in NOLA. Pours hazy orange-gold with a creamy, off-white head. Light dry yeast in the nose, soft grass, toasted grains. Light sweet flavour with notes of wheat, biscuits, husky grains, bitter grass, straw, lemon peel. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty well balanced and clean on the finish, with more grassy bitterness, citrus rind, pithy lemon, slight minerality, mellow yeast expression. Solid, very drinkable saison.

Can at the hotel in NOLA - sourced from Stein’s. Pours clear yellow with a frothy, white head. Nice crispy biscuit nose with touches of grass, hay, cracker and lemon peel. Light sweet flavor with more crispy crackers, biscuits, mild grassy bitterness, pale grains, hints of citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish, with further crackers grains, pale bread, bitter grass, straw. Really solid, really drinkable. It’s got everything you would want in a pils.

Can. Cloudy, murky gold body with lots of floating yeast. Frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, grapefruit, pine, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/slick texture, lively carbonation. Timid bitterness. Taste of bread, citrus, pine, floral hops trip over each other.
