@ Memphis Taproom, Phila. Hazy tan, big head. Aroma has soft pear and mango aroma, sweet with a bitter, fairly chewy character. Rich finish with a fair bit of alcohol.

Draft. Light golden body. Frothy white head. Aroma of grass, earth, floral hops, toasted and dusty grains. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, moderate carbonation. Taste of earthy and floral hops, grass, citrus.

Can pour at the May 1st DC Tasting. Poured a dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma was chocolate notes, milk chocolate, some light coffee, light malty nutty character. Flavor was light bitter coffee, chocolate brownie.

12oz can pours a deep garnet amber with some off white head. Nose has toast, coffee, molasses, vanilla. Flavor is chocolate and coffee and molasses. A bit sweet but well done.

Can at the DC RateBeer Tasting. Dark brown with light tan head. Aromas of coffee, cocoa. Tastes of coffee, cocoa, chocolate, roast. Medium-light body with a dry finish.

From a can at the DC gathering May 1, 2016. Pours a clear cola with an off white head. Aroma of cocoa. Flavors of coffee. Smooth, light finish.

Draft at The Flying Saucer, Nashville. Almost black with a beige head. Aroma of strong black coffee. Taste starts with coffee, then moves more towards milk, cream, and chocolate with hints of dark fruit. Has some acidity and is a little thin. Not so good.

Can. Pours deep black, small beige head, dissipates with some residual and lacing. Aroma is pretty coffee forward, mocha, lactose. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, loads of mocha coffee. Medium body. Pretty solid for under 6%

22oz bottle pours out a copper amber topped with a sand head. Nose is pit fruit toffee some rich malts and a little booze. taste is more of the heavy malts a nice pithy fruit sweetness.

Bottle. Orange, apricot, caramel malt, pine, and grapefruit peel aroma. Golden yellow with moderate head. Sweet orange/peach, light caramel malt, and moderately bitter grapefruit peel/pine flavor. Good body. Very nice.
