We visited here Thursday 5th June 2025 en route back to the UK to see Dad, Isobel, Jude, Scott etc. This is based about 10 mins walk from the train station and it is on the market square, also worth bearing in mind diagonally opposite is Chaff another very good beer/bar location. Mazette is located on the corner and as someone else has already mentioned has more of a café vibe. There are a couple of tables out the front and courtyard at the rear, we initially sat in the courtyard but as we were the only ones there it was a bit dead and also a little bit windy. The beer choice is above the main bar and choice was good, I didn't have in depth look as we were only staying for one beer, but I think that it was mostly just their own beers. Beers were quite decent, I think that we had a Saison and hazy IPA. Staff were fine if a little bit distant. For those with disabilities I think that it is step access only.

Bottle picked up from Hereford Beer House and consumed at home Sunday 15th June after a short walk up to the local Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schöfweg. The weather has been glorious today and we cooked Fritas (burgers) from the Gourmet Burger book with Tomato Sofrito, it was very nice, not the best from the book but definitely amongst the top third. Pours mid gold with a very slight haze and mid sized rapidly departing white head. Cereal on the nose, a little bready, yeastiness also shows, these are all present in the mouth. Nice softness, it's difficult to categorise, but it's exactly what you would imagine would occur when two highly renowned breweries from Belgium and Germany collaborate. It's a real blend of what these breweries do best but on this occasion it sits 60/40 in favour of the Belgian influence to German and yet Loz can only get Helles, it's very interesting, very good and I really like it, however it's a little bit muddled, not a bad thing but that's how it is.

Bottle picked up from Zichovec online shop and consumed at home Sunday 15th June after a short walk up to the local Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schöfweg. Weather glorious today and we're cooking Fritas (burgers) from the Gourmet Burger book with Tomato Sofrito. Pours mid/dark amber, hazy with an off white head. Soft mouthfeel, malty with oodles of caramel, a bit nutty also, a very good beer and easy drinking for 5.9%

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg and consumed at home Sunday 15th June after a short walk up to the local Gasthof zum Sonnewald Schöfweg. Weather glorious today and we're cooking Fritas (burgers) from the Gourmet Burger book with Tomato Sofrito. Pours hazy light/mid silvery/gold with a white head. Nice soft mouthfeel, The citra is clearly impacting the aroma which is hoppy, nice beer.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg. Consumed at home Saturday 14th June 2025, after a 6.50 -7 hour train journey from Brussels. We're cooking a Seafood, Chorizo, Feta and Tomato Stew on the wood oven on the patio, we're sat in the garden. Pours gold, actually light-mid gold, gold clarity, white head. Nice mouthfeel, solid Helles, the maltiness and bitterness are well balanced, light fruity. Light hoppiness, good.

We're cooking a Seafood, Chorizo, Feta and Tomato Stew on the wood oven on the patio, we're sat in the garden. Pours mid gold, excellent clarity, white head, looks good. Soft carbonation, nice mouthfeel, nice bitterness, surprised that it's a little dryer, hoppier and not overtly malty, also not so sweet, a very nice Hell.

On tap at Brasserie de la Senne, Brussels, Friday 13th June 2025. Pours hazy light gold, with a mid sized white head, very easy drinking and a solid Belgian blonde, spicy, a little bit yeasty, nice carbonation. Ticks all the boxes.

As Witz 4.2%. On tap at Brasserie de la Senne, Brussels, Friday 13th June 2025. Pours hazy yellow/gold, with a mid sized white head. A very nice Wit, however the above seems variable looking at other ratings, certainly at anywhere between 3%+ - 4.2%, perhaps should consider a separate rating. Anyway back to the beer, really good, really refreshing, really moreish. Lovely drop.
