Can (small can) picked up from Hereford Beer House whereupon the lady behind the counter informed me it was a great beer but very sweet. I consumed at home, sat out in the garden in the company of Mum and Keith, Sunday 22nd June 2025 after a nice afternoon at Schönberg Volksfest, we had Pork Satay and Rice for tea. Pours shark eye black with a thin head that was rapidly consumed by the inky depths below it.. Aroma is mostly chocolate and honeycomb but it's also giving some boozy wafts. In the mouth it's a very sweet beer, tasting just like a liquid crunchie bar, which I guess was the aim. It's a little bit boozy but only very slight, tbf it doesn't taste 15%.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg and consumed at home, sat out in the garden in the company of Mum and Keith, Sunday 22nd June 2025 after a nice afternoon at Schönberg Volksfest, we had Pork Satay and Rice for tea. Pours warm gold with a white head head. The aroma is subtle, there's a light fruitiness backed up with bread and some grassy hops. This trio transfer into the mouth, there's a nice carbonation it's a little sweet, light bitterness. Fine.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg and consumed at home, sat out in the garden in the company of Mum and Keith, Saturday 21st June 2025 (Summer Solstice) after a day in Passau, we had BBQ'd Persian Chicken, Cous Cous etc for tea. Poured mahogany in colour with an off white large frothy head. Malty aroma, caramel and toffee dominate Flavor also mostly waves of sweet maltiness, toffee and caramel, decent Doppelbock which I need to revisit as about a third of the way through, I decided I didn't really fancy this style of beer at this time and couldn't finish it all.

This pours mahogany in colour, very good clarity with an off white head. Toffee, caramel, malty and nutty on the nose, these also feature heavily in the mouth, it's a sweet malty beer with a little dryness towards the end. Nice mouthfeel, fine.

Can picked up from Bierothek Fürth and consumed at home, sat out in the garden in the company of Mum and Keith, Saturday 21st June 2025 (Summer Solstice) after a day in Passau. It pours hazy/murky gold/orange with a mid sized white head. Lots of tropical fruit on the nose and in the mouth, smooth, creamy, a little fruity tang, some citrus (sweet orange) combines with the tropicalness, of which I get a little passion fruit that's providing the tang. Easy drinking NEIPA, good but not completely winning me over.

It pours hazy dark gold/orange in fact heading towards amber. Yeastiness with a little spice on the nose, some citrus fruit, and of course a wheatiness. Fruitier than a regular wheat, light hoppiness, some spicy cloves, sweet orange, carbonation is almost fizzing in the mouth. Good bier.

Can picked up from Hereford Beer House and consumed sat in Frank at WOMO Stellplatz Plattling Friday 20th June 2025 after a day with Mum and Keith in Plattling at World Canoeing Championships and then Volksfest. Pours pitch black with a small light beige head. Bitter coffee on the nose along with dark chocolate. Lots of coffee in the mouth, chocolate and a dark chocolate sponge cake also present but it's shed load of coffee that steals the show here. Not too sweet, it's a very good Impy Stout.

Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnberg and consumed at home in the company of Mum and Keith Thursday 19th June 2025, sat out in the garden. We had the Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) again, such a fantastic meal. Pours clear gold with a mid sized white head, it looks good. Nice mouthfeel, good carbonation. Malty on the nose with a little grassy edge bit subtle. Malty in the mouth there's a little background bitterness some sweetness but then it starts to dry a little. Fine but the Krausen Hells I had before was better.
