Pours very dark , muddy brown. No head. Scent is bourbon heavy, fairly sharp boozyness. Rich , dried fruits, toffee. Taste is full, sweet, toffee. Not the most thick ( yet certainly thick, obviously). Boozy. A lot of vanilla. Very decent, but not mindblowing

Pours a deeper blonde. Small white head. Scent is kinda rough, full, mild in acidic features. Taste is full, intense and very mature' woody, medium acidity. Very easy drinkable. I like b1 very much, and revisiting (after 2other family tree beers earlier this week) this is indeed a very very nice one, perhaps the best of the series.

Pours slightly hazed blonde, medium small, fast fading white head. Scent is mature, brett, oak, but rather sharp and 'thin'. Taste is very pronounced on the rbett, oak, fairly dry. Very barnyard-like, bit cheesy (isovaleric acid in acceptable levels). Feels much older than it actually is, very mature lambic profile here. I would have liked a bigger mouthfeel though, and the aftertaste is quite short on this one. A very decent geuze, but not one for the trophy shelves.

2018 vintage (only batch?) The red wax here... Well thats a first.. It's one of those 'break to open' wax that crumble everywhere in pieces and powder. But what's really a first ever experience ? The wax reeks. It absolutely stinks. Not the beer. Not the outside of the wax (which you could point to the enviroment of the bottle) I mean when you break the wax, it releases a fairly pungent aroma of burnt plastic/rubber... That's not a great start - since this is the kind of fucking wax that always ends up in the beer, usually some dust on the neck of the bottle, if you've opened and poured in the most carefull way. I've never had a wax that was not odor free though (accept Grey Monday B1, bujt it had a pleasant aroma of Hazelnut as a gimmick, and it's wax you can just peel off super easy), so it usually is only anoying, now it's anoying times 5. Why, oh why.
The beer itself pours a very dark brown, no foam (and hey, only 1 miniscule part of wax ended up in the glass) Scent is very smoked, like ham (Zwarte Woudham) Some prune like aroma underneath. Heavy. Taste is smoked, sharp, metallic-like sharp even (build up with the smokeyness, not actual metallic I think) Sharp grainy-smokey-prune finish with some alcoholic burst.
I'm not a fan of smoke, but there's smoke and there's smoke. This one is specifically revolting to me - and it delivers very little beyond or beneath the smokeyness. I can see how it's appealing for those who like this particular kind of smoke, which seems like a very small crowd. It has a good, dense body without being to thick, and very low to no carbonation (which works) , so the mouthfeel is solid, there's that! But yeah, I'm not about to call myself a fan of this beer, and I'll send it down the drain along with the particles and dust of that fucking wax

Pours a unclear dark mahoniebrown. Offwhite, rather creamy, stable, medium small head. Scent is quite off, DMS-heavy, grainy (but in a bad, spoiled way). Some caramel beneath. Taste is far better, not getting DMS here, really. Perhaps it's overdominated, perhaps the actual 'off' scent isn't really DMS but just very similar? Mildly bitter, medium sweet, surprisingly clean (not as sticky and exhausting as expected). Fairly crisp, even. Mild on the caramel. Some earthy, nearly chocolaty tones as well. Decent, but not a very inviting aroma

Apparently a double mash stanneman blond, with 3% Jim beam bourbon blended in.
Pours a warm amberblonde. Small white head. Scent is bourbon, caramelized malt intensity. Taste is full, sweet, bourbon clearly there, but also some yeaststress, autolysis and loud, sticky phenols. Sweet, bit boozy finish. Soft, fairly thick mouthfeel and low carbo.

Pours a dark brown, large slightly off-white head, stable and pillowy. Scent is breadcrust, whiff of caramel, dark bread. Rather loud, for the style. Taste is full, surprisingly bitter, with the dark breadyness in the back. Caramelly, as well as a slight earthyness. Easy drinker, but loads of flavor. Quite a nice one !

Pours a clear, slightly darker blonde with a medium foam of medium low stability. Scent is very full and robust, mineral, tocuh smokey almost (oak char?), woody and brett. Taste is full, very brett and funk forward, but also woody. Medium acidity. Very dry. Citrussy acidity, which is a great balance towards all the more 'heavy' aroma's, it's lifting up the geuze to be a bit more fresh. Medium body with a high (slightly too high for me) carbonation. Overall, a pretty damn solid geuze - but (appart from the cool concept!) not going beyond that. For my personal taste slightly to dry as well - but than again some others will love it exactly because of this.

Pours clear blonde. Small white head, medium to medium low stability. Scent is typical pilsner, crisp maltyness, refined noble hops. rather expressive lager yeast profile. Taste is medium intense. Crisp maltyness (white bread), refined noble hops, fairly bitter and dry, medium high carbonation over a medium thin body. Easy drinkable. Not really getting any off flavors or something out of style, so I do think it deserves a higher score than it currently has. Not an amazing pilsner though, just... Decent to good?
