The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Quite aged sample Transparent tim over copper-orange, clear beer. Clearly oxydized nose, 'biscuit', nuts, portwine. Sweet, even more port than the nose, dried sweet oranges, bit caramel. Only the finish is tired and oxydized, accusing its age. Light, very slick to oily, undercarbonated. Held up surprisingly well, even when it can't be called 'Premium Lager' any longer. Txs to Stef!

Thick dark-cream head over brown, almost black beer. "Warm" lambic aromas, horseblanket, immortelles, sour orange, ever so slightly (tomato cream) soupy, sweet cherries, spices. Wood, dark, unfermentable sugars, again sweet cherries, hint @ roast. Farmyard, wet wood. Finish is indeed sweet and smoked. Seems to have more 'bite' than a regular gueuze; no apparent acidthinning if acidburn present; very well-carbonated. Disconcerting. Quite good, but one is put on the wrong foot at every turn.

Short-lived off-white head over metallic copper beer. Exotic sweetness in the nose, as an (alcoholic) maple syrup, bit nutty, succulents, old oak. Sweet, almonds, boozy. Faint hints at vegetables and, well, knowing it, agave/succulents. And lots of hints at raw alcohol. Warming up there is a very faint smoky flavour. Alcoholheat. Very slick if nowhere sticky. Not very carbonated. The whole American continent, Bourbon, rum, now tequila... Hedwig, ik begrijp fascinatie voor het exotische, maar zoek het eens dichter bij huis? Armagnac, Calvados, Pineau des Charentes, Noyac (Armenian Brandy). And how about a recreating of the Duvel x Hof van Kleve? Txs to Stef!

Very good, persistent white head over faintly veiled, finely carbonated and very lacey golden beer. Yeast, light green leaves, floral, some exotic fruit. Again impression of white candi sugar, with a floral, almost (white) vinous streak - no doubt the Nelson Sauvin. Finish is sweet, alcoholic. Bit dangerous, the alcohol arriving late. Well-carbonated, dry. A bit... déjà vu. I preferred the Malificus, to be honest. Txs to Stef!

Small, just off-white head over hazy orange beer. White candi sugar, hibiscus or other flowers, and alcohol. Almonds, alcohol, bitter marzipan. Very boozy, white candi sugar all over the place. Well-carbonated, medium bodied, quite slick. Pff. Thirteen to the boozen.

Small rim over pinkish orange beer, fully veiled and well-carbonated; Light sour fruit aromas, smells thinnish, if fresh. Nice sourish exotic fruit. Indeed light but tasty, refreshing natural flavours, amongst other as from blood orange. Well-carbonated, light body. Interesting discovery! Many thanks to Joren!

Fast gone head to rim over clear amber beer. Rainwater, waterweeds, some wood and coffee in the end. Coffee very obvious, hints at wood and chocolated. Again some waterweeds. Finish is again (very watered-down) coffee. Light body, medium carbonation. Feels a bit dead. Rare. Very many thanks to Joren!

Very good, dense, lightly yellowish head over lively carbonated, clear golden beer. Grains, undergrowth, garden weeds, faintly spicy nose. Sugar very obvious, ultra dry and almost lean. Some alcohol giving the sweet finish. Obviously highly attenuated, very well-carboanted. Slick, faint oily feel. Gone a tad too much on the - completely fermented - sugar. Dry, but too little flavour. Txs to Stef!
