The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Small, just off-white head, stable over fully hazy orange beer. Smells as if wild yeasts have been busy. Fruity aromas, but not as effective fruits, funky. Ink, walnut - if not bitter. Very neutral taste, no acidity, no sweetness, no bitterness. Slick, again... dull. Medium carbonation. Mmmpf. En Stoemelings used to do better, whilst Italy sports a wealth of very remarkable chestnut beers... so? Txs to Stef!

Small beige head over dark redbrown beer. Nutty, mocha, soft roast, coffee-ish nose. Roast, quite dry-ashy. Again some (diluted) coffee or mocha, nutty. Gradually getting sweeter (as the nose suggested). Good carbonation. Light to medium bodied, slick. Amusing light porter, nothing wrong, nothing special.

Head gone in seconds; orange tinted golden beer with a very faint veil. Typical dry C-hops, with exotic fruit & citrus; resin. Very dry, resiny, lupulin & hopoil- filled mouthful. Some fruity esters, if fleetingly under the resin onslaught. Quite slick, but still rather light body. Not very carbonated. Nice flavours but ending lame, feeling empty. Many thanks to Joren & Daniel!

Small if persistent, just off-white head over fully hazy orangey beer. Oranges, clove, wheat, estery. Oranges, lemon if not really sour. Bit meaty esters. Lots of clove, especially in the finish. Good carbonation, wheatslick, medium bodied. Average Weisse, whilst I used to love the Dunkel from Lohrer. I hate this obfuscation. Where is this brewed, in Lohr am Main, or in Würzburg? Please be a bit frank! Txs to Stef!

Small white head over faintly hazy golden beer, finely carbonated. Rather neutral aroma, some pale malts and faintly green leaves. Sweet, cornflakes, pale sweet malts. Rather dull, and the - even not very active - carbonation lends some idea of acidity. Light body. Warming up, the aftertaste has a whiff of EU hops. A Zwickel might show some more attenuation, I think. Txs to Stef!

Draught Huge dark greige head, shortlived over ruby-shot black beer. Booze, whiskey, Bourbon (yes); raisins, roast, sweet candi, but also ketjap manis; rumbonen. Sweet roast, cookes, gingerbread. Chocolate, mocha. Again rum, vanilla, rumbonen , sweet walnut. Alcoholheat, very slick, oily and viscous. Sticky texture despite good carbonation. Sweet, if quite good Imperial Stout.

Draught Small if consistent purple-pinkish head over fully muddy purple beer. Superb, intense fruit/berries' aroma. I get blackberry, raspberry, strawberry and vanilla amongst others. Smoked and cinnamon'ed' overlying lactic- and fruitacids. Sour, but very inviting. Despite low ABV, fully chewy and fruit-filled. Well-carbonated, and indeed smoothie consistency. Nice! Despite the MF, this is still beer!
