The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Small if persistent white head over lively carbonated amberish golden beer. Sulphur, farmyard, horseblanket, yellow/green stonefruit, gooseberry, horsestable. Sharpish, lactic acid, again stonefruit, partly unripe. Again some sulphur, some vegetable as raw celeri. Lipsmacking acidity, acidburn, acidthinning, yet a certain roundness, slick, wheat. Severe but very good oude gueuze. Might mellow out with some more aging. Txs to Stef!

Small white rim ove hazy orange-golden beer. Fruity, horseblanket, Bretts; some barnyard odours and a 'creamier' fusels' nose; sulphur. Quite acidic - especially seen the Pineau, there's nothing left from the sweetened cognac. Fruity indeed, if not necessarily winegrapes. Lactic, but even just below identifying treshold acetic, it would seem. Ultra sharp, nothing mals; good carbonation. Acidburn and -thinning. I'm quite underwhelmed, this ought to have been way more sophisticated, Pineau des Charentes being - when quality product - a fantastic if sweet complex liqueur.

-1 point for the nerve-wracking wax, preventing me for getting to my beer for ten minutes. Black, almost headless beer. Alcoholpunch, and the oranges welling up. Chocolate and mocha, Bourbon, vanilla beans. Sweet, alcoholsweetness and -burn. Chocolate indeed, and lots of vanilla, red fruit and oranges. Pimm's cake, cocos. Full bodied, furious alcoholheat; oily and sticky. A tad too... pastry.

Small, somewhat pinkish head, rather stable over sorrel to pale terra-cotta beer. Vinous, rosé wine, quite fruity. Pink berries. Fruity, again berries, but whereas the nose was really vinous, here it lends more towards soft drink. The blackcurrent appearing more and more - Hero? Rosehips. Very well-carbonated, fruitslick and -filled. Some acidthinning, almost refreshing. OK, but I've had better from Nevel.

Good if fast receding hazy yellow beer. Sourish, lemony, lactic acid, wheat. Overdosed on the coriander. Lactic acid and also salicylic acid; old cloth. Reasonably refreshing, well-carbonated, slick, mineral. Just a little less coriander, and it might be pretty good. Txs to Stef!

Aged sample Head gone in a few seconds over hazy orange-golden beer. Asafoetida, root spices and a slight amount of oxydation. Almonds, amandine. Sweet, almonds returning, rosewater. Finish is rather empty. Slick, at least medium bodied; medium carbonation. Just OK, accusing its age. Txs to Stef!

Small white head over fully hazy orangey yellow beer, lacey. Citrus, asafoetida, spicy. Also some other grains, it would seem - wheat. Bitterish as orange- or other citruspeel. Bananapeel too. Bitterish finish as well, but maltbacking throughout. Slick, even velvety texture despite lively carbonation. Quite good NEIPA.
