The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Medium to good, quite stable cream head, bit fluffy even over red-brown beer. Nutty, bready, hint @ human sweat, sugary dark malts. Sweet, bready, wet cardboard, rosejam. Lots of (dark) malts, toffee. Feels well-bodied, really gristslick, well-carbonated, chewy. OK, even better but again (too) sugary.

Sampled as Starkenberger bock Der Festbock 2025 6.5% Small cream-coloured head over reddish-amber, fully hazy beer. Fresh worts' nose, brown bread, even sourdough, autumn leaves, rosepetals. Sweet, bready, breadcrust, autumn leaves, even just a bit earthy. Quite slick to oily, well-carbonated. Light if quite OK Bock (or bock, if they prefer).

Small, fast gone cream head over reddish brown beer, lightly hazed to opaque. Syrupy nose with candi sugar syrup, fruity esters and old cloth. Sweet, again malt- or brown sugarsyrup. Fruity, candy-like flavouring. Quite slick to sticky, oily, despite good carbonation. Quite a tad overdone on the syrup, no? Even more sweet than the old English icons.

Pink head, fast regressing over dark, hazy pink beer. Intense cherry-ish nose, bit vinous (grapey), with a kind of mint aroma, perfumey. Sweetish to sweet, with a very little lactic acid, but faraway hints of wild yeast. Finish is a bit lemony however. Very spritzy carbonation yet quite slick; light body. Decent, the vinous fingerprint is there. Txs to Stef!

Good, dense pinkish head, rather stable over hazy pale rosy to terra cotta beer. End of bottle some red UFO's - fruity? Artificial raspberry aroma, ever so faint lemon. Mild lactic acid and a fine, fade raspberry flavour, less artificial than before, and again a bit lemony. Well-carbonated, almost fizzy, very light, refreshing. Nose was not really inviting but taste finally quite OK. Txs to Joren!
