The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Pink head, receding over veiled dark ruby to terra cotta beer; fine shards of lace. Sweet cherries, cherrysyrup, almonds, marzipan. Seems to be very sweet. In the mouth a more natural cherryflavour, if again with almond flavouring. Vanilly, cherrysweets. Bit slick, more than usual for a kriekenlambic. Good carbonation. A tad disappointing; I had expected more from a Lambiek Fabriek kriek, but the perfumey VBDCK Kaishaku is overpowering.

Small if persistent just off-white rim over muddy purplish redbrown beer. Acids (lactic/acetic), a sour cherry aroma, sour banana (if that makes sense), other grains, lots of fruity esters. More of the same grain, Oud (cherry)Bruin in the best way. Sweetish-sour, fruity flavours and a lot of oak. Acidthinning and (light) -burn, yet quite (fruitlike)slick, reasonable carbonation (certainly after 5 years of barreling!). Wow! Only: this tasts to me as Oud Bruin, all Dubbele Gersten impressions so far where substantially different, and I cannot deem which is closer to the historical style. But anyway, Johan/ABC, please give us much more of this!!

Small off-white head, soon reduced to rim over faintly veiled pale yellow-golden beer. Bit fake citrus, and definitely pear. Bit of chewing gum, fruitdrops. Apple,-, pearjuice, but all quite modestly. To make the circle round, indeed a citrussy sweet-sourish surrounding thanks to the yuzu. Very slick, not very heavy bodied. Good carbonation although it finishes less spritzy. Amusing. A good childrens' drink, if alcoholized. Txs to Stef!

The brewery calls it a Triple IPA. There is no reason that we want to know better here Shortlived beige-cream head over foxy metallic amber beer. Sweetish, nutty, nectarine, honeycookies. Sweetish yet resiny flavour (also a quite resiny sticky feel). Half-dried grapes, even almost dates. Backthroat piney resin, if subdued. Chewy, oily, even ultra oily feel? Good carbonation, if stifled by the maltbill. Alcoholwarmth. A triple IPA of 12.5% ABV... no cold feet in Kiwiland! Many thanks to Joren and Daniel!

White head soon reduced to rim. Fully hazy pineapplejuice-like beer. Asafoetida, hopoils/resins. Citruspeel, unripe exotic fruit (the thiols?). Light bitterness, again quite fruity, citrus(peel) in particular. Finish, however, tends to sweet lemon fruitcandies. Very slick-oily, good carbonation. At least medium bodied, and some working of the oats. Very good NEIPA.
