The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Head gone in an eyeblink; hazy (!) ochre beer. Brettanomyces, almonds, citrus, molded citruspeel. Lots of citrussy Bretts. Sunflower seeds, orangepeel. Seem to get some wheat(slickness). Nice, mild acidity. Medium bodied, very slick to oily. Not very carbonated. Bit unsettling, if original and quite interesting - and not at all bad. One remark: a West Coast is not supposed to be hazy. Txs to Stef!

Medium, stable white head over lightly carbonated metallic golden beer. Pale dusty malts, partly toasted, cornflakes. Again a hint of toast, and a whiff of herbs - almost hops. Again some cornflakes, sweet, if not excessively. Light, slick. Ends empty. As expected. Ubiquitous international lager. 'Pilsner' is too good for this. Txs to Stef!

Good yellowish head, rather stable over bright if veiled orange beer. Fresh lupulin, Irish moss, citrus, exotic fruit, pine & resin; faint almonds, pot pourri. Nectarine, amandine, citruspeel. Notes of resin, and accordingly dry. Orangejuice, pineapple, passion fruit, unripe mango. Very well-carbonated, making it appear fresh despite the dry, resiny MF and the creaminess from the oats. Medium bodied at least. Excellent strong IPA! Txs to Stef!

Very good, dense, whipped eggwhite head, stable over hazy orange-golden beer. Horseblanket, floral, lemony as a fine mild gueuze, shoepolish. Lemony, mild acidity with a remarkable lot of foam in the bottle. Corresponding with the creamy oats? Horseblanket, farmyard. Spritzy and creamy at the same time. Acidthinning and light -burn. Oh yes, it IS gueuze. And, historians, isn't lambic not a wit(wheat)beer? The difference are the wild yeasts. It's already quite strong but doesn't have the same explosive brillance as the 10% Golden Anniversary Edition.

-1 Point for the clear glass abomination. Crystal clear golden beer with some transparent rim. Real lambic nose, horseblanket, lemonpeel, leathergrease, hazy, white wine. Quite tart. Granny Smith apples. Wild yeasts and Brettanomyces in particular. Farmyard flavours, dried nettleleaves. Dry leaves and moss. The finish and aftertaste is where it cannot held up to the Pajottenland lambics, falling flat. Acidthinning. Remarkable! An (almost, we both agreed compared to the below ratings) real lambic BREWED in Antwerpen. Txs to Stef!

Rather huge foxy-greige head over reddish deep-brown beer. Sweet-smelling as vanilla, caramel, toffee, treacle, pastry - and, indeed, salted caramel. Roast, caramel, stout acidity, pastry and mineral. No bitterness but all one might expect is there, and in pretty good balance at that. Well-bodied without excess. Faint alcoholwarming, viscous. The salted caramel is quite present, yet perfectly blending in. Maybe 'imperial' (or anti-) is a bit stretching it for 9.1 % ABV, but no matter. Txs to Stef!

Head gone in seconds. Almost clear chestnut-mahogany beer. Sweet chestnuts (indeed) or nuts. Lots of caramel. Honeycovered apero nuts. Caramel, even toffee, very faintly coffee. Some nice diluted syrup for desserts. At least medium bodied, slightly oily, soft carbonation. A Doppelbock from down under, and not bad at all. May you live in interesting times! Many thanks to Joren and Daniel!
