The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Huge, dense & thick cream-coloured head, stable, over real bernsteinfarbiges beer. Bread, sweet & coloured malts, autumn leaves, breadcrust, 'hot' malts. Sweet, bready, breadcrust (short of Maillard), leafy. However the maltsugars remain, the finish is going drier. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, quite slick, sticky feel. Classis in the Vienna style, if unfiltered. Txs to Stef!

Small, lightly yellowish head over hazy yellow beer. Very herbal nose, spices, kernels, leafy. Faint citrus notes. Sweetish, dull-weyish flavour, skimmed milk with dried spices having lost all their freshness & flavour. Warming up, more and more obviously coriander. Slick, far from empty, just light and lacking punch. Medium carbonation. Bweeugh. Lame. Txs to Stef!

Fast dwindling, frothy white head over fully hazy yellow-orange beer. Dishwater (the glass?), citrus, citruspeel. Bitter citrus, orangepeel, resin. Dry herbs. Medium bodied, bit chewy, oily. Good carbonation. Quite good, not outstanding.

Small, if stable russet-cream head over jet-black beer. Fruitgums (yes!), liquorice, gingercarke, coffeemilk, caramel. Gingercake with preserved fruit and tobacco, guimauves , again fruitgums (yes bis!!), fatty acids. Very slick/oily. Low to medium carbonation, sticky feel. What IS this? Jumble of impressions, going in every direction, with no trace of harmonisation.

Draught No head to speak of over virtually black beer. Some rainwater, but more raisins, Bourbon, whiskey, felt, warm roast, roasted nuts and cured ham with sugar coating. Very sweet, raisiny, dried plums/prunes, hickory syrup, whiskey, Bourbon and a serious alcoholkick. Almonds, if lightly roasted. Alcoholheat and some -thinning; furiously throatwarming, viscous & chewy, low carbonation, coating feel. Good one, as usual!

Draught Thick beige-cream head over jet-black beer. Intense coffee & mocha nose, rather sweet, sweet roast, brown sugar glazing. Mocha indeed, mild/sweet roast, coffee milk. Roast beans, roast... liquorice? Black bread with honey spread or treacle. Quite full-bodied - seems more than 7% even. Soft carbonation. Sweet, if far from bad.
