Bottle pour. Quintessence 25. From 330s I recall. Came with pork rillettes, of which I had many. Hazed pale amber. Thick swede. This I recall being a little on the sweet and rustic side.

Bottle pour. Quintessence 25. As per the other Ermitage it came with asparagus and rhubarb on rye. Misted deep red. Slim white foam. Got to be honest I don’t remember much about this one. Think it was fruity and bright.

Bottle pour. Quintessence 25. Paired with cherry chocolate by Laurent Gerbaud. One of the best pairings on the day. Misted deep ruby colour. Ring of pale pink foam. Loads of dessert and sour cherry. Minimal funk. Some sweetness. Great stuff.

Bottle pour. Quintessence 25. Came with asparagus and rhubarb on rye bread. Misted dark-ish gold. Barely a head. Lovely fruit and grape. Foamy and refreshing. Great stuff. One of the best on the day tbh.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Little Mesters now has the brewer from Grizzly Grains. And on this evidence it shows. Hazed gold. Thick dense lasting white foam. Looks boss. Nose has rye like grain. Chalky mineral. Peach and plum stone. Light yeasty bread. Like a sourdough thing. Taste is semi sweet with a mineral dryness. Light floral fruity hop bitterness. Lovely mouthfeel here. Foamy and bright. Clean crisp finish. Pretty much bang on for style by a lad who needs to know how good he is at his game.

Can picked up at the brewery. Clear dark brown. Decent tan foam stays the course. Nose has coffee cake and icing. Nice fruity character. Solid roast malt backdrop. Taste has some sweetness but is mostly dry earthy and hop leaf bitter. Full mouthfeel. Easy drinking. Ashy earthy bitter finish. Nice one.

Cask. Canary. Deep chocolate brown. Super dense lasting mocha foam. Looks boss. Loads of dark chocolate shavings and coffee truffle. Roast malt backdrop. Taste is dark chocolate sweet up front with a hefty fruity roasted bitterness. Super slick and smooth. Bitter finish. Lovely. Missus rated this up with a Kernel Export job.

Cask. A whole pint my dang. The Canary. Clear gold. Tight white head. Looks boss. Nose has blueberry mosaic. Twangy leafy hop. Twist of lemon and lime. Lightly buttery malts. Taste is semi sweet with a clean tangy bitterness. Pintable in spades. Excellent cask gold.
