Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Soft haze on a pale-ish gold. Slim dense lasting white foam. Nose has the Union kit yeasty esters behind peachy orange hop and clean dry bready malts. Taste is light fruity bitterness with a light sweetness. Clean and fairly dry on the palate. Decent bitterness to finish. Class pow wow.

Can picked up at the brewery. Clear orange gold. Decent sticky just off white foam. Nose has semi sweet nutty malts. Hint of caramel. Floral honeyed hop notes. Whiff of pepper. Taste is bready nutty sweet with a good leaf mulch type bitterness. Nice feel on the palate with foamy carbonation and good depth of body. Tidy bitter finish.

Can. Morrison’s. Hazed up pale straw gold. Milky swede. Milky on the nose too. Twangy hop. Pretty green and mulch like. Taste is sweet with a green hop bitterness. Drinks easy despite the overwhelming milky oaty thing. Moderate bitterness to finish. It’s pretty much how you’d expect it to be. Fair play it’s fresh though and it’s a cheap tick.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Different design now. See pic. Quick rate because last rate disappeared. Clean enough with a bit of a wood shavings thing. Earthy bitterness.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Purveyors of a German tick almost every time you walk in the gaff. Clear pale gold. Thin sturdy white foam. Nose has biscuity malt. Whiff of sour. Some sweet lemon. Taste is light sweet with a good hit of grassy leafy bitterness. Nicely clean and crisp throughout. Snappy bitter finish. Aroma wise it doesn’t leap out the glass but it delivers on everything else you could want from the style. Nice one.

Bottle via the online shop. Light haze on a glowing gold. Solid foamy lasting white foam. Nose has tangy wheat. Cut oak. Grassy citrus hop. Fair amount of funk. Taste is quite tart and tangy. Some hop leaf bitterness. Drinks well at the 6.5 although the carbonation as it stands is way too high. Tart hoppy finish. I feel like this and the Cherry Reds that have just been released have a way to go before they’re spot on.
