Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Hazed lemon gold. Very slim white head. Nose definitely delivers on the NZ hoppage. Lemon and lime. Sweet white grape. Bit of melon. Clean dry grain. Taste has a little sweetness first off with dryness and firm bitterness. Drinks easy. Lingering moderate bitterness to finish. Decent NZ tackle.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Bradfield in a can. Who knew? Hazed pale gold. Very decent glossy topped white foam. Nose has clean grain. Some pithy lemon. Fresh cut grass. Taste is a little sweet but there’s dryness and bitterness too. Well easy drinking. Dry-ish light bitter finish. Solid gear. Bradfield continue to surprise.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Clear gold. Slim lasting white foam. Nose has light dry grain. Decent grassy hop. Taste has some light sweetness. Crisp and dry and lightly bitter. Drinks well. Moderate bitterness to finish. Solid gear.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines. Chilled well down because it’s 33° at 6pm ffs. Clear pale gold. Slim fairly dense lasting white foam. Nose has cereal. Leaf mulch. Not a ton else really. Taste has some cereal sweetness with a moderate leafy bitterness. Drinks fine. Moderate bitter finish. Ok enough but doesn’t pull any trees up.

Bottle courtesy of Lucky Otter. Cheers Mark. Clear pale amber. Slim just off white foam has a bubbly outer, and is nicely lacing. Nose has rich sweet malt. Sappy pine. Overripe orange. Proper old school IPA vibe here. Taste is pretty sweet and malty with a good pop of leaf mulch bitterness. Drinks good. Loads of flavour. Lingering bitterness to finish. Something is happening with Bradfield. They’ve put out buttery shite for years and then lately it’s all barrel aged this and that and old school IPAs. Fair play this is very decent.
