Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Clear amber. Very decent thick just off white foam. Nose has bread crust. Some vine fruit. Bit of walnut. Taste is semi sweet with moderate lightly peppery bitterness. Drinks great overall. Smooth with good body. Light semi sweet semi bitter finish. Thornbridge really are good across all styles in my very humble opinion.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Clear pale amber. Thin but sturdy white foam. Bread cereal and hay. Slight apple character. Taste is semi sweet with a moderate mulch like bitterness. Drinks easy overall. Light bitter finish. 29 rates in 19 years. Must be a small concern this one.

Can. Mitchell’s Wines. Mostly clear straw gold. Slightly dirty looking loose suds. Nose has a rubbery soapy character with bubblegum mosaic peeping through. Some orange peel. Taste is a little sweet with moderate bitterness. Thin palate verges on watery. Thin bitter finish. Probably best suited to cask.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Nearly black. God tier swede. Easy 10. Nose has tar. Resin. Burnt citrus. Heavy roast coffee. Taste is super bitter with loads of charred pineapple vibes. Touch of sugary sweetness on the lips. Rich and slick on the palate. Big bitterness to finish. Class.

Bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Hazed gold. Solid Kernel swede. Nose has clean dry grain behind hoppage coming across piny and ripe stone fruit. Even a bit of soggy pear or apple in there too. It’s an interesting combo. Taste has light sweetness with a firm earthy woody bitterness. Drinks easy albeit a bit lacking in carbonation. Bitter finish. Tasty gear overall but not top tier by some margin.

500ml bottle. Beer Stop Dronfield. Clear gold. Good sturdy white foam. Cereal sweetness on the nose with moderate grassy hop. Taste errs toward the sweet end too. Modicum of leafy bitterness. Drinks fine. Decent body. Sweet-ish finish.
