The West Coast IPA is a modern classic that changed perceptions of what beer could be, and paved the way for today's craft beer scene. Our own approach is informed by experiences working with trailblazing brewers and diving deep into their celebrated beers, so this delivers the hallmark layered bitterness and a clean, dry, resinous finish alongside punchy flavours provided by a blend of modern and classic hop varietals.

Can. Nose is citrus, grapefruit, lime, hint of pine, herbal. Taste is grapefruit, pineapple, pithy bitter finish. Strange that in 2021 a well made West Coast IPA feels like a little bit of a rarity.

Can picked up from Beerdome Webshop, Grootegaste, Netherlands and consumed at home Thursday 29th October 2020 listening to Tom Ravenscroft on 6Music after a Burger at Hotel Gasthof Ostermeier in Gütlsdorf (next village). Pours hazy gold with a large white head. Wow this is great and very good example of the style. Dry, bitter, citrussy (pithy), zesty, orange. This is a very nice beer.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM I think. Pours mostly clear gold with a lasting, frothy white head. Moderately sweet, nice piney bitterness, semi-ripe citrus, crunchy pale bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bitter and lightly resinous on the finish, some sun-kissed pale malts, lightly gooey citrus fruits. Quite good overall.
