50cl bottle pours a leggy, deep brown/black with some bubbly khaki head. Big chocolate milkshake nose. Stunned this is scotch because the barrel is present but subdued. Caramel, big mocha, chocolate covered espresso bean, toast, malt. Flavor has big mocha milkshake vibes, cocoa powder, medium roast coffee, licorice, molasses, some old woodiness. Full bodied, chewy, malty, just off dry finish. Enjoyed this.

Pretty rich deep dark brown head with a thinnish, fast-dying tan and light brown head that caps the beer nicely, over top of the 85 per cent opaque oily body. Aroma of deep robust molasses, anise, pitted fruits, coffee, earth and grain with a light touch of chocolate noticeable, but some strong alcohol of course and noticeable bitterness from the grains. Full-bodied; Very strong rich chocolate and earthy, nutty and grainy malts showing at first with a big bite from the rich alcohol, but ending with some enjoyable sweetnesss from the lactose and strong pitted fruits. Aftertaste is enjoyable with a lot of complexity from the sugars (of the pitted fruit and molasses) with a good deal of bitterness from the roasted malt and grainy flavours, but nicely balanced, considering the pungency. Overall, a nice and very enjoyable Stout that definitely hits Imperial Status from the pungent grain bitterness and the rich sweetness of the pitted fruits with a good complexity from lactose and woodie, rustic flavours at the end. Great to sample, especially on draught! I sampled this twelve ounce pour in a snifter at Crystal Beer Parlor in Savannah, Georgia on 29-December-2021 for US$8,50 while here on vacation with my wife and three kids.

50cl bottle pours a leggy, dark brown/black with a ring of off white head. Nose has molasses, licorice, carob, booze, tootsie roll, maple and vanilla. Flavor has malt and caramel and molasses and licorice and maple and vanilla. Some clear whiskey happening after all of that. There is some appley happening. Finished full bodied, off dry, boozy, sticky. This bottle has less than 12 months before it thins and it could be peaking.

Very clear golden and amber coloured body with a thinnish, off-white head that fades pretty quickly and leaves a thin lace on the sides of the glass but almost nothing on top. Aroma of oranges, grapefruit, strong citrusey bittered hop notes with a good kick of flowers and perfume on the backend with a dry and floral finish with some enjoyable bitterness, in the nose, at least. Light to Medium-bodied; Rich orangey and grapefruity flavours show at first with a good bitterness and floral profile that show a good complexity with a relatively mild malt backbone that only shows a little bit of body, but some more pronounced grainy and orange flavours. Aftertaste shows some crisp and bitter orange and grapefruity quality that hits nicely and provides a good bitterness and pungency to the very soft and subdued malt notes here. Overall, a good beer that you can actually taste some orange, citrus and bittered components with a floral profile that persists, while remaining partially easy-drinking.  I sampled this sixteen ounce pint-sized can purchased from Kroger in downtown Savannah, Georgia on 27-December-2022 for US$2,00  sampled by the pool here at my hotel in Orlando, Florida on 29-December-2022.

Can (10/14/22) pour from Hop City, Krog Street. It's a pale, orange-gold with light sparkle, finger-width white foamy head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is strong tangerine over grapefruit, as advertised. Taste is mix of grapefruit over tangerine mixed with pilsner malt and wheat. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, lovely aroma while flavor is a bit muddled. Pilsner malt isn't a big selling point for me. Too carbonated. OK.
