First of all the color is a bit light for a traditional Vienna Oktoberfest Style. Then personally I prefer the Oktoberfest that have a little bit more roast in them for depth of character. This has a little bit of that but not very much. It’s mostly sweeter malt.

Despite what others are saying the one that I’m having now is quite tart although the lemon lime is there it’s light and I’m not sure if I taste salt or not. Great body and finish. Nice beer.

12oz bottle. 3 days old. Wow. This really exceeds my expectations. Thick, unfiltered yellow-tan body. Steady, bright, white head. Juicy tropical citrus aroma, some rind, mostly mellow tropical fruit. Really drinks just as solid as anything I’ve had in the style. Excellent stuff.

It’s a nice spicy doppelbock, but could use a little more carbonation. Slightly boozy finish.

Aroma’s nice, roasty, bit a malt. Flavor’s on the sweet side, slight bitterness, good finish. Straightforward porter.

Bottle. Black coffee, dark chocolate malt, and hay aroma. Black with large brown head. Lightly sweet dark chocolate malt, and moderately bitter coffee bean/light hay flavor. Nice body and balance. Good black coffee flavor.

From a cask. Very heavy chocolate, yet I works well, same with the bourbon. Good body. Long finish. Rich, fairly smooth.

Very good traditional style barleywine. Aroma’s malty, toffee, hint of yeast. Flavor’s like nose, bittersweet and fairly easy drinking. Strength shows later. Good stuff.

Outstanding fresh hop Aroma with just the right amount of malt to back it up. It’s a bit light in body though. Also a bit light in strength for an IPA. Very drinkable and good finish.
