3$ can from the giant bird of prey in Pgh. Eye, is pretty much simple pale and clear. Very fresh pine cone nose, like I’m out on a hike and I pick a green juicy cone off a conifer and break it open for the aroma. First taste is of course bitter as all misery; gehenna and purgatory. An ordeal nightmare. Rude and crude; totally terribly tittless and actually in fact on style. A progressive liberal ordeal of pandemonium. Assuredly an affliction in abyss. Undeniably a torment and suffering for a macro pale lager lover’s taste-bud. Beer? No, its a preponderance of rosebud wicked bitter eye pee aye, doctor prescribed, medicine. Such a manly beer, I need to mansplain the flavor to the better half. Exponentially a suffering perdition. Its an underworld trial of torment. Undeniable wretchedness. No tropical billingsgate in this bullish bomber. At least its got some carbonation to balance out the mouth coating hogwash poppycock. What else can be said? If you like IPA, put this on yer bucket list. There, you have it. Whew. The only thing going for this is the aroma of a Christmas tree.

Pour out of the cute little 8.4oz can is a bright but very light gold with a large white head. Aroma is a very herbal and spicy hop. The flavor is about the same. A very upfront herbal spicy hop with some non-descript generic malt. This was a pretty good hop forward pils.

0.473 l can from 'Craftbeershop.com', canned in March 2025. A little hazy, golden orange with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, gently fruity-resiny aroma of mango, grapefruit, orange jam, some pine and light tobacco. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, quite resiny and gently fruity taste of pine, tobacco, grapefruit, mango and some orange jam, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Medium body, smooth and gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. First time I tried this iconic beer in all those years, delivers as expected. Nothing outstanding anymore, but really well-balanced and harmonious.

Love the annual Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest collab, this year is with a brewer from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern the only German region I’ve yet to tick and won’t get credit here haha. Tannish gold and small head that turns to film. Nose is bready and honey. Tastes of bread, floral, honey, spicy. Fine drinkable palate. Hopefully sharing rest of my 12 pack with friends later this weekend but if not I’ll have no problem finishing myself.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a clear gold copper colored body that supports a full near tight dirty white head of foam that leaves behind sheet lacing. The aroma offers up spicy to floral hops, a thin mineral hit and then some breadiness and biscuits. The taste delivers similar notes with a full body and full flavour blend of yeasty fruity esters, moderately bitter spicy to floral hops and then a fair load of bready malty biscuit like character. Fun beer.

12oz can from Boise Co-op. Bright, clear golden pour, small foamy head. Pretty straight forward malty festbier, clean, tasty, so easy to drink. Bready, biscuity with some crisp hops at the finish.
