Dark amber; very sweet, one dimensional beer. Sour banana undertones lend a hint of weirdness and unpleasantry. Hot finish. Unbalanced.

Golden colour but, despite it's name, crystal clear. Overwhelming clove aroma. Sweet and medium bodied. And cloves... Cloves, cloves and cloves. Yikes.

Amber; sweet, slightly fruity, touch of plastic. Never had a good "cor" before, I'm afraid. Doesn't bode well for my next trip to England, where I'll probably visit my family on the Scillies.

Sampled cask conditioned at the White Horse, London.
Deep mahogany, cloudy appearance. Big apple pie aroma. Light bodied, almost acidic. Metallic finish.
