Cask at The Craft Beer Co. Islington. Pours orange, pretty plat and relatively clear. I guess flat is usual for cask beers. Nose is super fruity, this fragrant cask ale fruitiness, mixed with Sorachi Ace vanilla and cookies. Tastes soft, more of that soft vanilla and cookie caramel coming through - whereas there is now wetness at all. Very fragrant and very drinkable, actually quite liking this.

Light-medium sweet flavour with well toasted brown bread, bittersweet cocoa, ash, pine, more grapefruit. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with a little toasted pine resin, more roast, ash, baking cocoa, citrus. Solid.

Cask at Craft Islington. It pours near black with a small tan head. The aroma is earthy roast, salted liquorice, ink, oiliness, umami and coffee grounds. The taste is bitter - sweet, oily, earthy, chewy, chewy malt, plum, date, prune, candy, earthy, ashy, coffee grounds and some grain with a tangy and fruity finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. A bit tangy. Not sold on that tang.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 22nd September 2017. Gold with almost white foam and full lacing. Intense citric and biscuit malt aroma. Rich and intense tangy citrus in-mouth with biscuit malt harmonising. A luscious fruity finish. Zingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body. Exquisite.

Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. A bright straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; fresh, but indistinct, aroma; melony taste witha sweet grainy body; quite full-bodied with a light woody bitterness, but a rather cloying sweet finish. Interesting.

Tap(@Eebria Tap, Bermondsey):Golden, hazy, small and lacy white head; pineapple and other tropical fruits in the dryish nose, some piney aromas as well; moderate dryish - as well - bitter flavour with a delicate residual sweetness; fizzy and relatively light bodied for a 5.5%; lingering dry piney and pineappeley finish. Even though quite "heavy(5.5%)", it works well as a nice summer drink…
