Cask at Dorchester Beerex 25. Clear light brown. Thin foamy translucent white head. Aroma has some berry sourness, Malts. There's not much going on, really. . Flavour mirrors the aroma, with a touch of caramel. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft-average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Brown? May as well be a twiggy bitter. Bland if not unpleasant.

Cask at Dorchester Beerex. Clear copper gold. Bubbly foamy white head. Aroma is slightly aromatic but primarily of raw veg (better than boiled, I guess). Sour. Quinine-esque hops. Some citrus. Hints of underlying malts... perhaps. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. God... what is it so far with this beerex. Another Dorset breed chucking in hops with a somewhat caustic result.

Bottle from Hengistbury Head Visitor Centre near Christchurch. New brewery for me. Nice clear bronzey-amber colour with a white head. Maybe a tad too much fizz. Crisp autumn leaves and a little toffee. It's ok - a pretty big standard bitter. No doubt better on cask.

Cask @ Poole Hill, Bournemouth. Clear copper-amber with a glow. It's a well styled red ale with some malty sweetness, but not much bitterness.
