Tap at Dad’s Kitchen in Fair Oaks, CA. Pours hazy gold with a slight white head. Light citrus aroma. Med body, almost. Flavor is lightly roasty bready with citrus. There’s something of a hop tang to it. Not exactly dry. Has some bitterness. Really quite refreshing.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark brown/black with red glints and a tan head. Strong coffee aroma. Med + body. Flavor has lots of coffee and dark malt - I think there might be chocolate, but? It’s really smooth and tasty. Excellent, in fact.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours light gold/amber with a white head. Sort of saison aroma. Med minus body. Flavor is a little earthy. Suggests a cross between saison and something not a saison. Like a lager with a lot of noble hop? Strikes as Belgian yeast, and it’s becoming earthy bitter over pale malt. It’s good, if a bit puzzling to me.
