500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 7.1%. Black colour, moderate brown head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, woodwork and dark chocolate. The flavour is medium dry with notes of black malts and coffee, hints of wood. Moderate hops. The mouthfeel is not very rich. I’d like some more sweetness, some fruitiness, and some more hops - but I suppose you can’t have everything. Not a bad beer, though.

0.5l bottle @ Olympen, Oslo. Pours a dark brown/ruby body with a small fading beige head. Aroma is light sweet, malty and some strange notes of potatoes? Carbonation is flat, medium bodied and oily to sticky mouthfeeling. Tastes light sweet, almost like cola-sweetness. Also notes of wet hay and burned caramel. Ends in a mild and slightly watery bitterness. OK beer, but nothing I need to have again.

Bottle, kindly provided by OleR. It’s an almost clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head on top. Candy, caramel, fruityness and some yeast on the nose. There’s a little acidity on the palate, but it’s mostly fruity, with some bitterness chiming in towards the end. Medium body and low on carbonation. There’s not much reminiscent of a hefeweizen in this one, wonder if it’s really supposed to be one, and to be frank, it’s not very good either. 110311

Bottled, from orignal brewery and brewer. Dark brown with a tan head. The juniper is dominant in the aroma, with burned elements too. I the flavor, there is a roastiness. Pleasant, roasty aftertaste with hints of fruitiness. For a beer at 4.7% abv, this is a very fine Norwegian one. The brewer also does the malting, and this is the first beer he has gone live with, but he has intentions to brew more beers in a traditional style later on. Rating: 6-4-7-4-15-3.6. 051025
Bottle. A clear, brown beer with a dense, off-white head. It’s sugary on the rather weak nose. Prunes and some chocolate and coffee as well. The flavor has some dried fruits and sugar, with some bitterness chiming in towards the end. Thin to medium body. A boring one that won’t impress or scare anyone. 101126

500 ml bottle @den gode nabo. Dim golden body with a big creamy white head. Aroma is a bit weak malty with not much yeast or ester. Flavor has just a little malt, perfume, harsh bitter, not fruity and I was not able to detect anything that remains me about a wheat beer. Body is a bit watery and the aftertaste is not good at all. Something has to be serious wrong here, not able to finish. Must re-rate whenever possible.
