500ml bottle, bb.13.09.11, bought at Fenaknoken in Oslo over a year ago. Attractive bright, dark brown body under an off-white, patchy surface. Modest roasted smell of caramel malts. Caramel malts in flavour featuring a carefully bitter touch. Fine balanced beer that paired well our food. A bit thin, though (Romjulsparty, Tromsø 28.12.2010).

500 ml bottle, bought at Vaaland, Bryne, also Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Sediment, the bottle should be turned upside-down a couple times to get more wheat yeast flavour. Cloudy brownish-yellow colour, moderate white head. Moderate wheaty aroma, notes of citrus, hints of cloves and banana, but not as much as in most German hefeweizens. Light bodied. Refreshing wheaty flavour, moderate notes of citrus, cloves and banana, dry and slightly peppery finish.

Bottle from Fenaknoken in Oslo. Very drinkable with roasted malt, caramel and malt. There was something in the taste which was not easy to define. Good beer for a modest 4.5%.

500ml bottle from Fenaknoken in Oslo. A slight haze to a gold-amber body. Low, patchy surface. Lighter aroma of spiced wheat. Bittersweet taste of citric fruits, ripe banana and spices. Herbal dry ending. Medium to thin bodied. Interesting interpretation of a weissen (hotel room, Oslo 18.10.2010).

Flaske 0,5l. Gave fra Rune. Uklart. Appesinfarget. Et høyt luftig skum. Typisk hveteøl med sitrusaroma. Litt tung fruktig smak. Svakt søtlig bitter ettersmak. Et godt hveteøl som ikke blir for søtt. KI=3

Medium white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Light earthy resiny peas aroma with smoky floral notes. Dry-sweet earthy grainy peas taste with floral mealy notes. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Light body. Dryish chalky floral peas aftertaste with orangey earthy notes. Really nice. Subtle and drinkable with lots of flavour. (0.5l bottle, Den Gode Nabo, Trondheim.)

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yngwie. Pours a clear orangey brown with an off-white head leaving a little lacework. Roasted malt in the nose and a whiff of ashes. Medium body, sweet roasted malt, some dark fruit and a whiff of ashes and licorice. Dryish finish. A Dunkel really. 090710

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy dark brown with a small, crude, off-white head. Rich, roasted aroma. Full-bodied with some quite sweet, roasted malt and some rustic notes. Odd spicy edges but actually quite interesting and very different. 030106
