Flaske fra Matkroken Stokka: fontene på kjøkkenbenken! Hadde mine hjemmebrygg oppført seg slik hadde jeg for lengst tatt toppforsikring på huset. Fargen er grumset gul, omtrent som mitt gamle, oljede furubord. Vanskelig å kjenne noe aroma gjennom det tårnhøye, insisterende skummet. Snakker vi om produksjonsfeil, begynnende infeksjon? Smaken er forsåvidt passabel, med sitrus og litt krydder, men ikke i nærheten av det jeg forbinder med gode hveteøl. Skal reklamere på denne neste gang jeg er på Matkroken.

Flaske 500ml fra Meny Oslo City. Gyldenbrun. Uklar. Veldig høyt luftig skum med kremkonsistens i midten. Litt lacing. Interessant aroma av bær & trær. Smaken har samme preg. Selje. Uvanlig og godt. Litt bunnfall igjen på flaska.

Huge brown head. Clear deep dark reddish brown body with strong carbonation. Roasty earthy caramelly aroma with spicy rye notes. Dry-sweet roasty earthy caramelly taste with pea notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish earthy minty peas aftertaste with spicy wooden rye notes. Nice, drinkable, fairly straightforward brown ale. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City.)

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are sweet malt, grass, hops and has a prickling sensation from the little too much carbonation.

Big slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of strange sour-ish, grass, wet grain, wet hay, weeds, flowers, yeast, unripe berries, moss. Taste is slightly harsh grainy, hay, dried grain, weeds, yeast, minerals, bark, almond essence, sour grass. Little bitterness, harsh mouthfeel, very high carbonation. Drainpour!

Bottle. An unclear, dark golden-orange beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has quite a lot of yeast, with a generic fruityness and some caramel malts in the back. It’s full to medium bodied, quite effervescent and dry. It’s lighlty sourish on the palate, with a tad too much yeast. Fruityness and caramel too. Sourish, fruity finish with a faint bitterness. Well, sure not a beer I will repeat unless someone thrustworthy convince me it’s improved significantly. 140619
