1Bottle. A dark brown beer topped, unclear and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is rather weak, with roasted malts and some coffee hints. Dried fruits too, but just a whiff. It’s medium bodied, with a nice carbonation level. Semi-dry. Roasted malts, coffee and a touch of charcoal in the flavor, some bitterness in the far back. Lasting finish. Quite decent this one. Rather boring aroma, but it’s easy drinkable and quite flavorful. Repeatable. 150724

Bottle from Gulating cons 2015-06-01 Duved I belive it was this beer that owner of Gulating Trondheim have brewed (own recipe) at Egge Brewery - currently only available in the TRH shop. AR: roasted malt, sour coffey, AP: dark brown almost black, stouty wee cream brwon head F: rich carbonation dry dark bitter chocolate, black coffey with a hint of milk, tar, salt liqurice, classic stout with a hint of sweetnees!!!

Small offwhite head quickly shrinks leaving only a fringe. Hazy amber body. Sugary spicy raspberry aroma with herbal camphor notes. Say, what? Sweetish raspberry soft drink taste with camphor notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, flat mouthfeel. Dryish gingery raspberry aftertaste with herbal notes. This was deeply odd and must be flawed in some way, but I’m not sure exactly how. Stuck fermentation? Drainpour. (0.5l bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen.)

Brun tåkete med lavt beige skum. Lukter noe smør, løvetann og lett fudge. Søt, noe honning. Uten bitterhet. Lite kullsyre.

Temmelig fruktig, med mye bjørnebær, skogsbær forøvrig og snev av parfyme. Bra fylde til kl.D, men nesten litt vel fyldig til en dry stout.

Medium beige head. Clear deep dark red body with light carbonation. Roasty oily dried fruit aroma with earthy licorice and raisins notes. Sweetish roasty earthy taste with bubblegum notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish juniper berry and fruit aftertaste with roasty watery blackberry notes. It’s kind of ok, but too watery. (0.5l bottle, I forget where from.)
