Draught at Gibraltar, Buenos Aires Deep ruby. Aroma of resin and butterscotch. Fairly sweet, caramelly and medum-full bodied. Low on hops, allowing malt to dominate, although despite being mouthfilling the burst of flavour is short. Solid, but somewhat sweet and unrefined.

A barley wine??? This brewery is stylistically challenged. Deep golden color, grassy, cookies, lemony sour nose. Butter mouth. This is off? or is it? Fully bodied caramel notes, but alcohol is well hidden. Well made homebrew? Extra 2 pts just because of hidding the alcohol so well.

Med-dark brown color, thin white head, sweet caramel, dark fruit and baked cake nose. Is this really an imp stout?? Roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and baked cake spring to light in the mouth. Sweet caramel nutty finish. Not an imperial stout, but not bad.

Deep dark stout with a thin light moka head. Light aroma of peated malt, figs, sweet chocolate, lightly maderized. In mouth, a clean chocolate malt with light fruitynes, bitter, light coffee, light vinous notes, treacle. Some light alcohol develop. Medium bodied. This bottle is more than 6 months old and withstood travel and storage. A rather funky interesting stout from a good Argentine brewer. Ya, basta.

Bottle. Amber colour. A little burnt malty smell, hints of caramel too. Has a sweet malty taste. The aftertaste is also sweet and a bit heavy from the alcohol. Also a nice bitter aftertaste. A friend brought me this bottle from Argentina. It was a nice surprise.
