23/3/2025. Draft at The Oliver Twist, Great Yarmouth. Pours maroon black with a firm creamy pale tan coloured head. Aroma is mildly roasted, nutty, chocolate, coffee, caramel. Moderate sweetness, light roasted bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Lacks body but it’s an easy drinker and preferable to Guinness.

[On tap at a Las Iguanas restaurant, Center Parcs Longleat.] Didn’t expect to find a tick here! A fairly basic hazy citrusy pale ale, but enjoyable anyway.

Bottle somewhere at Heathrow airport. Clear golden body with a white head. Nice refreshing citric fruity and grapefruit aroma. Flavor has light, crisp malt with citric/grapefruit and balanced bitterness. Medium to light bodied and fine aftertaste. Nothing complex, but well made and a really nice thirst quencher.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso propende per il luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata ed elegante, permanendo in maniera apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma non molto persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato e anche qui le bollicine sono di grandezza fine. Il colore è ambrato scarico. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi e pompelmo rosa.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso lo speziato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e la maniera in cui permane è sufficiente. Il cappello di schiuma resiste abbastanza. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta di consistenza limpida. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma del perlage. Il colore è giallo paglierino. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza e con una certa componente acidula. La forza gustativa è normale e la durata è buona. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca rintraccia note di miele, resina, pino, erba, agrumi, limone e un citrico un po' disturbante.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare opalescente e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato torbido. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è non invadente. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sulla lingua si attestano impressioni di miele, frumento, luppolo, agrumi, limone e bergamotto.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e la durata è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano poco luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, pompelmo e albicocca.
