1,100th MA rating! Pours a nice black-ish from a can, some khaki head that quickly dissipates. Aroma is nicely complex, peanuts, coffee, chocolate malts. Flavor isn't quite as complex but still good. Nicely dry finish. Good beer.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque black with light viscosity, light sparkle, thin cap of light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong earthy malts (a bit like old dish rag), toffee. Taste is strong earthy malts and toffee with late coffee roast. Mouthfeel is medium-to-full bodied with thick, chewy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a little disappointing that I don't get any fruit.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's a dark dark brown with mahogany--virtually opaque--with nice sparkle, finger-width light brown tight foam head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong roasted earthy malt, molasses, milder coffee and hint of chocolate. Taste is strong roasted malt, toffee and mild coffee. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nice strength for the ABV. Not complex. Tasty.

Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! It's an opaque dark orange with nice sparkle, a bunch of large floaties, 3-finger width white foamy head with good retention and nice soapy lacing. Aroma is very strong sweet, and lightly tart, stone fruit, orange and background malt. Taste follows aroma though sweet is higher, and tart is lower, in the mix and light alcohol. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a little on the sweet side but all the proper elements. Good introduction to the brewer.

16 oz. can. Aroma has roasted malt, barley, coffee like tones. Flavor is the same. Body is average for the style and shows a nice roasted malt finish. Dry texture. Good base imperial stout.

16 oz. can. A scan of the QR code on the label tells you the batch number. Aroma shows me grapefruit, apricot, orange. Flavor follows with low citrus peel bitterness. Pretty good.

16 oz. can. Nose of roasted coffee, touch of chocolate. Taste is similar to the aroma. Average carbonation. Has a creamy yet dry finish. Pretty decent strength for the gravity. Decent.

16 oz. can. Aroma is chocolate malt, hints of roast. Flavor of roasted malt, coffee-ish and leather hints. Body is thin for the style. The only off thing is the fizzy carbonation. Standard porter.

Pours an amber from a can. Lemony tart aroma and flavor, kettle-soured seems like. Good beer.
