Bottle in Brighstone, IOW. Clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, Smooth malts, a little creamy, a little unsweet caramel. The Fuggles and Golding's provide a decent ripeish orange, fairly juicy, a little cooling pine on the finish along with a mellow bitterness. Old school done very well.

1st October 2024 Bottle in Brighstone, IOW. Bright clear amber beer, decent pale tan head. Smooth palate, airy, decent fine carbonation. Soft malts, a mild and smooth creamy sweetness. A light hoppy orange, nice balance of mellow hop fruit brightness and a little citric peel. Airy finish finds the hops getting pleasantly juicy. A pleasant surprise, it's old school in style but well delivered and well balanced. Very drinkable.
